@SacGreenbelt Please “digest” these thoughts for a “minute” to grant “reconsideration” of the “previous question”. Actually, upon a “2nd Reading”, this has gotten a bit “engrossed” and I must “rescind” my “point of personal privilege” here. “Resolved”- just a humble “statute”, err, statue.
@SacGreenbelt And, for good “measure”, in this an even year, if the issue not “resolved” soon, do we get to “Sine Die” these “vehicles” or does that put those trying to access a “section” of the “upper house” in a tough “spot”?
@SacGreenbelt And, while I would “concur” with a “majority” of your “petition”, would it be “germane” to speak in “code” here? Do we “call” or “refer” to the person performing the “enactment” of the button as a “floor manager”?
@SacGreenbelt Apologies- I must “check-in” with some “urgency” due to “unfinished business”. Not to “hijack” your thought, would you also “adopt” and “confirm” that “inactive” & “the motion has failed” are acceptable “amendments” to your point- At least until maintenance does an “override”?
@paulmitche11 Link above is the confirmation vote for Sen.Maldonado- Speakers include: Fmr pT and Acting https://t.co/rWtyJWWOws, A former https://t.co/rWtyJWWOws Candidate, A current https://t.co/rWtyJWWOws Candidate, & A Current Congressmen #caleg
Had Top Two been in place for June 2010- would we have seen the same results?
Had Maldonado not had the appointment and then incumbency going into the primary, would we have seen the same results?
Do either of these answers change the Newsom trajectory?
Thanks to all in the #CALeg community who joined us for the book signing and trivia last night! We appreciate you!
For those that missed it, books are still available on Amazon.
@paulmitche11@stevenmaviglio@RL_Miller So, would this be a good opportunity to remind folks of: CONS Art IV Sec 10 (a)? Haven’t seen much chatter on that point yet. Would not be plans A, B, or C, but nice to keep in mind?
