If you want a demonstration of how much of a pyramid scheme NFTs (and all of crypto maybe) are, see the Twitter accounts that automatically like, reply or follow after you tweet something about NFTs or crypto.
They’re either trying to scam you or are rubes themselves.
Oh something else that’s happened in the year and a half I’ve been inactive: NFTs. QR codes are somehow central to their users’ experiences of them.

The original idea as a distributed unfalsifiable ownership reference document has some merits but that’s not what most people’s current experience of them is.
What does this even mean? It’s like saying the URL economy, or the leaflet economy. QR codes are either encoded data as an end point (text, a picture whatever) or a link to a URL or app-specific handoff. It’s not a platform in and of itself.

For business owners, and non-techy designers, easily generated QR codes (however they’re wrapped up) are difficult and/or awkward to create. By prioritising and monetising the starting place, if not *really* the result, I have to hand it to them.
I was really, really surprised by this one. On its face it’s a proprietary code design (@GetFlowcode I believe), I didn’t expect my QR code in my iPhone camera app to work, but it did!
As I understand from a brief scan of their website, is that they can offer rapidly created and printable code designs as posters, flyers etc., they don’t offer tracking yet but will soon, and of course they have two pair tiers above the limited free version.
The NHS COVID-19 app went live today. Confusingly businesses were instructed to make the ‘check-in’ codes available to customers/visitors without explaining that they weren’t yet functional.
