Huge congrats to the team on delivering the first AMM on BRC2.0 and pushing BTCFi forward. 🫡
@bestinslotxyz launches BRC 2.0 Dex in 4 days
and it's quite confusing:
frBTC, coincooker, multisigs.
Here's what's actually happening (in plain English).
BRC-20 was Bitcoin's first token standard
It allowed you to put tokens on BTC
but they were JSON files
static and had no function (except for memes)
BRC 2.0 is an upgrade to it
Instead of static tokens, you can deploy full smart contracts on Bitcoin.
The contracts are EVM (Eth-based), so it's easy to onboard builders.
The volume shows it's working:
All this is from clunky trading.
No proper Dex or AMM yet.
Now, BiS is building one on par with Hyperliquid.
The DEX has 2 major features: Sequencer and Smart Wallet
The sequencer enables instant trades:
- Takes your swap
- Uses cryptography to verify it
- Instantly executes it.
It takes 20,000 other swaps like yours
And batch inscribes them on bitcoin.
It's like a bartender taking all your orders:
putting it on a tab
allowing you to process payment once.
This means:
- Instant swaps (no block time)
- Cheaper fees (It's batched inscribed)
But this alone doesn't get the 'Hyperliquid speed.'
The smart wallet is how you access it.
Here's how it works:
→ You generate the wallet on the DEX (tied to your keys so you keep custody)
→ Deposit BRC 2.0 tokens or Bitcoin
→ Trade instantly with the wallet
Deposit time: 1 Confirmation
Withdrawal: 1-3 Confirmations.
You only wait for confirmations on deposits/withdrawals
Everything else is instant.
That'll be put to test in 3 days
WAIFU by @yuzodotxyz is the first token to launch on mainnet
there is an ICO round happening on @coincookercom
the official launchpad for BRC 2.0 by the BiS team
it's for 10% (2.1M) of the WAIFU supply
A large allocation goes to Yuna holders
and that has caused a 200% surge on the FP.
(Yuzo team created the Yuna collection)
BiS has been building since early ordinal days.
BRC 2.0 for the past 3 months
The tech stack is great
The volume shows demand is real.
If WAIFU does well in these market conditions
It will be a much-needed breath of fresh air and a strong onboarding tool for the bitcoin ecosystem
As other parts of CT are bored
this could spark real momentum.
But that requires clearer messaging.
It's a pattern I keep seeing across Bitcoin projects:
Bitcoin projects with great tech fail because they can't explain it simply.
Clear messaging isn't dumbing down
it's removing barriers to entry.
Less explaining tech
More focus on outcomes.
Mark your calendars for December 16. $WAIFUS auction is coming! 🧑🍳

Shout-out to @yuzodotxyz for pushing BTCFi forward with native staking, L1 swaps, DeFi toolings, and for connecting it all with Ordinals! 🙌🙌
All BTC raised, except 1 BTC allocated to the YUZO team for development, will bootstrap BiS AMM liquidity, secured by permissionless smart contracts.
$BTCDOG token, fully open-source, liquidity permanently burned, no project team control, 100% fair launch, community autonomous!
