Patient presents to the ED with splinter in distal wrist, POCUS performed to identify FB, notice the lack of shadowing deep to FB (What material do you think it is?)

The area was anesthetized, and a small tract was formed. Alligator forceps were inserted in attempt to grasp the FB (What structure is in the near field, recall the FB is in the distal wrist?) 🐦
