OPENING CHINESE ASSETS TO GLOBAL CAPITAL
RWA tokenization is now one of the fastest-growing markets in finance: on-chain tokenized assets already exceed US$320 billion, with BCG projecting US$16 trillion by 2030 and Standard Chartered forecasting US$30 trillion by 2034. Foreign investors have long had limited direct access to China’s infrastructure boom but on February 6, 2026, the People’s Bank of China, the CSRC, and six other authorities jointly created the first national framework permitting offshore issuance of tokens backed by onshore Chinese assets.
