Reality gets strange at the smallest scale. That’s where our story begins.
Introducing q/acc — Quantum Accelerationism.
A Solana project exploring quantum theory, interactive digital experiences, and what the next era of computing could mean for crypto.
The idea is simple: make complex concepts something you can see, explore, and question.
Superposition. Interference. Entanglement.
These principles inspire our visual world—from overlapping waves of possibility to the luminous figure inside our Q, representing humanity stepping into an unfamiliar future.
Our direction:
• Bring quantum concepts to life through interactive visualizations.
• Make the connection between quantum computing and crypto easier to understand.
• Connect the experience to live token activity on Solana.
• Build a community curious about where accelerating technology takes us next.
Quantum computing could reshape parts of computation and challenge the cryptography digital systems rely on. Exploring that future means understanding both its possibilities and its limits.
q/acc is quantum-inspired. We’re not claiming to build quantum hardware or offer a quantum-secure token.
We’re creating a place to explore the ideas—and a culture around moving them forward.

The point about AI accelerating mathematics deserves more attention. Crypto’s security assumptions could face pressure from advances in algorithms before sufficiently powerful quantum hardware even arrives.
This is the intersection q/acc is exploring: AI, quantum research, and what both mean for the future of digital assets.
Our planned Grok bot experiments are aimed at connecting emerging research to testable questions—surfacing cited papers, examining their assumptions, and identifying what we can explore through simulations. The next step is making the evidence, limitations, and unanswered questions visible.
Your concern about lattices highlights why “post-quantum” should never end the conversation. We need to keep evaluating the assumptions behind the defenses as the tools for challenging them improve.

Quantum risk reaches beyond Bitcoin—to the cryptography protecting finance, digital identity, and the internet.

If quantum "breaks" Bitcoin, it can also kill:
• The entire global banking system
• SWIFT payment networks
• Global stock markets
• Military communication systems
• Nuclear security infrastructure
• Every website relying on HTTPS encryption
The entire digital financial system would face a crisis.
In other words: I’m buying the crypto dip.
Quantum preparation needs clear thinking.

absolutely do not take justin's advice btw
you are way more likely to lose your money by superficially moving it around than it is for fundamental cryptography to break overnight
(if that happened, the whole world would break, not just coins)

🚨JUST IN: @Solana users don’t need “bunker mode,” says Solana Foundation’s VP of Technology @jacobvcreech, responding to @drakefjustin’s warning about quantum and AI threats.
“Solana remains secure today and has a defined path forward.”
He says breaking Solana’s Ed25519 cryptography would expose a derived signing key, but not the secret seed. A network upgrade could let rightful owners prove knowledge of that seed and move to a safe signature scheme. A working proof of concept already exists.

Unlike many networks, Solana users don't need to go into "bunker mode" ahead of an accelerated quantum timeline or classical attack provided by AI.
Solana uses Ed25519, where each signing key is derived by hashing a secret seed. Breaking the curve, whether by a quantum computer or a classical attack, would expose the derived key, but not the seed, and seeds are never exposed onchain. With a one-time network upgrade, rightful owners could prove knowledge of their seed using a hash-based proof and move their accounts to a safe signature scheme. A working proof of concept already exists: https://t.co/am2ErkkomT.
Solana remains secure today and has a defined path forward.
Cryptography doom == ai doom.
It’s fear based on uncertainty from smart people unable to predict the future. It’s not fear based on certainty from smart people with real world repeatable measurements.
Fear is a great sales tool though. Wallet devs should be shipping pqc solutions now and establishing the processes of managing those secrets safely and rotating those protocols safely and getting implementation Lindy and robustness under their belt. Thats the great business opportunity underneath all this.
The quantum future starts with preparation.
