Due to a technical issue in the OHE near Moula Ali Railway Station, a few trains were temporarily detained/regulated.
Satavahana express immediately attended and cleared.
Palnadu Express, detained at Moula Ali, is cleared with a diesel locomotive.
Restoration works are underway on a war footing and are expected to be completed shortly.
Meanwhile, Train No. 17659 Secunderabad–Bhadrachalam Road Kakatiya Express diverted via Malkajgiri, skipping their scheduled stoppage at Moula Ali.

The incident is under verification and is suspected to have occurred in the early hours near Purna Junction. The Loco Pilot of a train noticed a body lying on the track and immediately informed the railway authorities.
The railway authorities promptly alerted the local Police/GRP, who are responsible for the removal of bodies from railway tracks as per the prescribed procedure. RPF personnel also reached the spot and remained there awaiting the arrival of the GRP.
A speed restriction was immediately imposed on approaching trains, and the train was operated at restricted speed while observing all prescribed safety precautions.
The body was subsequently removed by the GRP, and further investigation is underway.
Railways follows all prescribed safety procedures and protocols in such situations.

On 01.08.2026 lift on PF No. 2 at Umri Railway Station stopped due to overloading, with a few passengers inside. The Station Master was immediately informed and manually opened the lift using the emergency key and safely evacuated the passengers by temporarily resetting it manually.
To get a thorough check of the lift working, presently maintenance work is being carried out. Technicians from M/s. Johnson Lifts, along with officials from Electrical & Engineering Departments are attending to solve the issue.

On 02.08.2026, an unidentified man was murdered following a quarrel between two persons on Platform No. 1 at Huppuguda MMTS Railway Station.
RPF/Kacheguda promptly responded to the incident, registered a case and apprehended the accused. Subsequently, the case, along with the accused, was handed over to Government Railway Police/Kacheguda for further investigation and legal proceedings

Due to ongoing station redevelopment activities at Secunderabad Railway Station, temporary arrangements are being made for access to the vehicle parking area.
Further, necessary instructions have been issued to all concerned to ensure the safe movement of pedestrians and to prohibit vehicle movement across the designated pedestrian walkway while it is in use.
