She said, “Money is not everything to women; what matters is seeing that our man is doing something.” The same woman still said, “But I will not do 50/50 sharing with him.” LOL.
The above and other un-tallying statements aside, she lost me at “some of us ehn, we get heart of gold.” That mindset is my problem with women: they all think they are good people. That delusional statement resonated so much that the other woman stood up to hug her.
This mindset is why many women think they “suffered” with a man because they BOTH had little or no money while they were together. More often than not, the man had more and funded most of it, yet it was the woman that “suffered” with him.
“I was with him when he had nothing,” but he had and contributed more than you did. LOL.
It is also why none of them are ever the problem—their exes always are, as if we do not see how some women behave in real life.
Why do you think women will wrong you and still expect you to apologize? Because they believe they are perfect and can do no wrong.
“Man bad, woman good” is an ideology allowed to go on too long, so these women genuinely believe they are good by default.
We men must collectively ensure women know they are not automatically good because they think so, but by actually being good.
“Some of us get heart of gold… I will support him” - but “I will not do 50/50 sharing with him.” LOL.
@KwesiSpito Zero accountability whatsoever. You can do just about anything, and someone will be ready to defend it, insisting that everyone calling you out has some ulterior motive instead of admitting the action itself was simply wrong.
Call out horrible service in a restaurant “oh you want to spoil their business”
Call out the government “oh you’re part of the opposition party”
Call out bad behavior “oh you’re jealous”
@SkyNews@MattBarbet This is the problem of giving poor corrupt nations the same value in their votes as the countries that cannot be bought.
No principals, only looking to make themselves richer
Do not make superhero and/or action movies for girls. The same way you wouldn’t make a Devil Wears Prada for boys. The vast majority of girls are simply not interested in this stuff.
A girl who really likes you won't stress you out when you're trying to build a spark. Taking care of most of her expenses just to keep her around puts you in a position of weakness. If she isn't returning the vibe, walk away and find someone else. There are plenty of women out there, and weak men are the ones who force a connection.
Let me tell you guys what actually happened and why this is just something we could’ve avoided.
so the Bank of Ghana lost $1.9 billion in 2025 from buying gold
crazy right? but here's the thing. they weren't just buying gold. They were trying to save the cedi and build up foreign reserves.
This programme is called Domestic Gold Purchase Programme or DGPP basically meant BoG was buying gold from licensed small-scale miners in cedis, refining it and selling it on the international market for dollars.
The idea was smart. Buy gold locally, sell it abroad, get dollars, stabilise the cedi
and honestly? it worked in some ways. gold inflows jumped from $1.7 billion in 2023 to $12.7 billion in 2025. reserves hit $11.9 billion by end of 2025. the cedi appreciated 41% against the dollar. BoG was able to inject $10.6 billion into the forex market
so on paper, the programme did what it was supposed to do.
but the cost was insane and stupid
the losses came from a few things. service and assay fees paid to GoldBod. discounts on gold sold to exporters. exchange rate losses between what they paid in cedis and what they recorded in their books
basically they were buying gold at market rates but recording it at a different rate and the gap killed them
Some reports mentioned that the loss was only $214 million. but the IMF report revealed it was actually $1.7 billion. 8 times higher than what was initially disclosed
and get this. the Bank of Ghana's negative equity hit 6.7% of GDP by end of 2025. that's not small change
so was it corruption?
honestly? probably not direct theft. more like a well-intentioned programme that was poorly designed and executed. the Majority in Parliament defended it saying the GH¢19 billion loss was from "deliberate policy actions that helped stabilise the cedi". they said the gold itself hasn't been lost. the reserves are real
some analysts like Bright Simons have been warning about this. he said BoG incurred about 17 cents cost for every dollar of forex generated through GoldBod in 2025. that's insane efficiency
the good news? since July 2026, the programme has been transferred to GoldBod. now the government bears the costs, not BoG. IMF says costs are expected to drop from 14.5% to about 5%
so was it avoidable? Yes. if they had better oversight, better cost structures, maybe not let BoG run a quasi-fiscal programme when they were already in negative equity
but was it a scam? I don't think so. just expensive learning. $1.9 billion expensive.
Walaaahi Ghana's not poor. 😭💔
I promise you, he’s a rich guy. That’s the only reason she’s pained. She wouldn’t care if he was a broke guy. They will reject you and want to have access to you still so they can use you, knowing that you have a soft spot for them, and hope that one day you’ll hit, so they’ll continually use you while your expectations will never be met.
He’s smart to have cut her off after she rejected his advances.
Let's stop pretending male and female infidelity are the same. They aren't.
Men and women are different. We choose partners differently, value different things and face different consequences.
You can call it hypergamy, biology or human nature. I don't care what label you give it. Reality doesn't stop being true because it's unpopular.
BUT. Recognising that doesn't excuse either sex. It doesn't make one betrayal less immoral than the other. Regardless of your gender, I don't believe you betray someone you truly love. If you can lie to their face, risk destroying their trust, and still call it love then your definition of love is incredibly cheap.
LAW TIP: YOUR TENANT CAN SUE YOU FOR TRESPASSING.
Yes, even if you own the property.
Once you rent out your property and give your tenant lawful possession, the law protects the tenant’s right to exclusive occupation. Ownership remains with you, but possession belongs to the tenant for the duration of the tenancy.
This means you cannot enter the premises whenever you please. Unless the tenancy agreement or the law permits your entry, or the tenant has given consent, entering the property may amount to trespass.
Remember: In the law of trespass, possession is often more important than ownership.
There's no justification for those ridiculous import duties. None. We should be on the streets, protesting, storming every government building.
This is a deliberate attempt to ensure we never enjoy basic life, creating a massive gap between the rich and the poor.
A Chinese company got an exclusive monopoly to charge quarantine fees at Ghana's ports.
They pocketed GH$345 million.
The Office of the Special Prosecutor says it's a "systemic corruption risk."
The Ghana government gave them the monopoly.
The Ghana government let them take the money.
After all this then we ask why the port is expensive.
Last night Apple briefly removed Telegram from the AppStore because a user had planted illegal porn in a public chat.
Telegram was restored within hours. But I want to explain what happened — to warn other app developers and help protect online communities from similar attacks.
Because Telegram quickly removes illegal content from public groups using all kinds of moderation tools, the attacker had to resort to a technical trick. He inserted AI-modified illegal content by editing an old message in an active group chat. As a result the content was effectively hidden from the group’s members, preventing them from seeing/reporting it.
The attacker was a takedown extortionist: someone who demands ransom from group owners in exchange for not targeting their communities. These extortionists use automated accounts to plant illegal content in public groups and then report it directly to Apple, attempting to trigger the removal of legitimate communities whose owners refused to pay them.
From a practical standpoint, illegal pornographic content in Telegram’s public groups is not a systemic problem. Our moderation is effective. The fact that attackers must resort to backdated, effectively invisible content and other technical tricks proves this.
⚠️ However, there are two important lessons here for app developers and online communities:
— Extortionists have found a way to manipulate Apple into overreacting. Apple removed Telegram from the App Store before contacting us. This creates a potential systemic risk for every mobile app that hosts user-generated content. If an app used by more than a billion people can be removed from the App Store without prior warning, any app can be.
— The tactics used by takedown extortionists are evolving, putting communities across social platforms at risk. Telegram has extensive experience identifying the tricks used by coordinated reporting gangs and protecting legitimate communities (even when doing so risks our own app being temporarily removed from the App Store). Other platforms may not be equally prepared.
Stay vigilant! ☝️
Truth is, politics in Ghana is incredibly lucrative. That’s why a lot of your friends are positioning themselves strategically. The same people who messed the country up have made sure they’re the only ones who can profit from the rot. How many options are available to young people to generate the same level of wealth within such a short time frame?
You hold citizenship of two countries
You claim you love one so much that you want to help develop it
They ask you to give up the citizenship to the other country and suddenly you can’t hear in your left toe
But I’m supposed to believe you’ll truly pledge your allegiance to me
They much rather he save cats and squirrels than save actual real humans from real death situations.
In the grand scheme of things, saving people from a massively burning oil rig trumps preventing a mugging.
You want street level intervention, get street level heroes to do that.
