تلقى معالي الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، اتصالا هاتفيا، من سعادة السيد سيهاساك فوانجكيتيكيو، وزير الخارجية بمملكة تايلاند.

جرى خلال الاتصال، استعراض تطورات التصعيد العسكري في المنطقة وتداعياته الخطيرة على الأمن والاستقرار إقليميا ودوليا، وسبل حل كافة الخلافات بالوسائل السلمية.

وأكد معالي رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، خلال الاتصال، ضرورة وقف الاعتداءات الإيرانية غير المبررة على قطر ودول المنطقة، محذرا في هذا السياق من مغبة الاستهداف غير المسؤول للبنية التحتية الحيوية خاصة المرتبطة بالمياه والغذاء ومنشآت الطاقة.

كما شدد معاليه على ضرورة تعزيز التنسيق وتكثيف الجهود المشتركة، والعودة إلى طاولة الحوار، وتغليب لغة العقل والحكمة لاحتواء الأزمة، بما يضمن أمن الطاقة العالمي وحرية الملاحة وسلامة البيئة ويحفظ استقرار المنطقة.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs @MBA_AlThani_ Receives Phone Call from Foreign Minister of Thailand

HE Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani received a phone call from HE Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand Sihasak Phuangketkeow.

During the call, they explored the developments of the military escalation in the region and its serious repercussions for regional and international security and stability, in addition to ways to resolve all disputes by peaceful means.

HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized, during the call, the necessity of halting the unjustified Iranian attacks on Qatar and other countries in the region, warning in this context against the irresponsible targeting of vital infrastructure, particularly that related to water, food, and energy facilities.

His Excellency also stressed the need to strengthen coordination, intensify joint efforts, return to the negotiating table, and prioritize reason and wisdom to contain the crisis, thereby ensuring global energy security, freedom of navigation, environmental safety, and preserving regional stability.

Statement | Qatar Strongly Condemns Targeting Its Territory and Sisterly States, Affirms Its Right to Respond

Doha | February 28, 2026

The State of Qatar expresses its strong condemnation of the targeting of Qatari territory with Iranian ballistic missiles, considering it a flagrant violation of its national sovereignty, a direct infringement on its security and territorial integrity, and an unacceptable escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that the State of Qatar reserves its full right to respond to this attack in accordance with the provisions of international law and in a manner proportionate to the nature of the aggression, in defense of its sovereignty and in protection of its security and national interests.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stresses that the State of Qatar has been and continues to be among the foremost advocates of dialogue with the Islamic Republic of Iran, consistently calling for this approach as the optimal foundation for addressing differences and resolving disputes through peaceful means, and for sparing the region the risks of escalation.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirms that the targeting of Qatari territory is inconsistent with the principles of good neighborliness and cannot be accepted under any pretext or justification.

The State of Qatar has consistently sought to distance itself from regional conflicts and has worked to facilitate dialogue between the Iranian side and the international community.

However, the renewed targeting of its territory does not reflect good faith and threatens the foundations of understandings upon which bilateral relations between the two countries were based.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also expresses the State of Qatar's condemnation of the violation of the sovereignty of the State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Kingdom of Bahrain in the blatant Iranian aggression, affirming the State of Qatar's full solidarity with these sisterly states in all measures they take to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and stability.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs renews the State of Qatar's call for the immediate cessation of any escalatory actions, a return to the negotiating table, the prioritization of reason and wisdom, and efforts to contain the crisis in a manner that preserves the security of the region, safeguards the interests of its peoples, and prevents a slide into broader confrontations.

بيان | دولة قطر تدين بشدة استهداف أراضيها واستهداف الدول الشقيقة وتؤكد احتفاظها بحق الرد

تعرب دولة قطر عن إدانتها الشديدة لاستهداف الأراضي القطرية بصواريخ إيرانية بالستية، وتعتبره انتهاكًا صارخًا لسيادتها الوطنية، ومساسًا مباشرًا بأمنها وسلامة أراضيها، وتصعيدًا مرفوضًا يهدد أمن واستقرار المنطقة.
وتؤكد وزارة الخارجية أن دولة قطر تحتفظ بحقها الكامل في الرد على هذا الاستهداف، وفقًا لأحكام القانون الدولي وبما يتناسب مع طبيعة الاعتداء، دفاعًا عن سيادتها وصونًا لأمنها ومصالحها الوطنية.

وتشدد وزارة الخارجية على أن دولة قطر كانت ولا تزال من أوائل الداعين إلى الحوار مع الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية، ونادت باستمرار بهذا المبدأ باعتباره الأساس الأمثل لمعالجة الخلافات وتسوية النزاعات بالوسائل السلمية، وتجنيب المنطقة مخاطر التصعيد.

وتؤكد وزارة الخارجية أن استهداف الأراضي القطرية لا ينسجم مع مبادئ حسن الجوار، ولا يمكن قبوله تحت أي مبرر أو ذريعة، حيث حرصت دولة قطر على الدوام على النأي بنفسها عن الصراعات الإقليمية، وسعت إلى تيسير الحوار بين الجانب الإيراني والمجتمع الدولي، إلا أن تجدد استهداف أراضيها لا ينم عن حسن نية ويهدد أرضية التفاهمات التي قامت عليها العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين.

كما تعرب وزارة الخارجية عن إدانة دولة قطر لانتهاك سيادة دولة الكويت، ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ومملكة البحرين في العدوان الإيراني الغاشم، مؤكدة تضامن دولة قطر الكامل مع هذه الدول الشقيقة في كل ما تتخذه من إجراءات لحفظ سيادتها وأمنها واستقرارها.

وتجدد وزارة الخارجية دعوة دولة قطر إلى الوقف الفوري لأي أعمال تصعيدية، والعودة إلى طاولة الحوار، وتغليب لغة العقل والحكمة، والعمل على احتواء الأزمة بما يحفظ أمن المنطقة ويصون مصالح شعوبها، ويحول دون الانزلاق نحو مواجهات أوسع.
