HE Mr. Rashid bin Hamad Al-Athba, Second Vice-Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, participated in the opening of the fourth edition of the Qatar Real Estate Forum 2026 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The forum was inaugurated by HE Minister of Municipality Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al Attiyah. In cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), Qatar Chamber has launched an integrated Qatari model for entrepreneurship and innovation. The model is based on leveraging the strategic cooperation between the Chamber and UNIDO to empower entrepreneurs, with a particular focus on women and youth.
This was revealed during a meeting held at Qatar Chamber’s headquarters between Mrs. Ibtihaj Al-Ahmadani, Qatar Chamber Board Member and Chairperson of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum, and Ms. Fatou Haidara, UNIDO Deputy Director General.
Mr. Ali Bu Sherbak Al-Mansori, Acting General Manager of Qatar Chamber; Dr. Hashem Suleiman Hussein, Head of UNIDO’s Investment and Technology Promotion Office (ITPO); and H.E. Dr. Khaled Hanafy, Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers also attended the meeting.

أطلقت غرفة قطر نموذجا قطريا متكاملا لريادة الأعمال والابتكار، يقوم على الاستفادة من تجربة التعاون بين غرفة قطر ومنظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية "يونيدو" في تمكين رواد الأعمال، لا سيما النساء والشباب، والعمل على تطوير هذا النموذج محلياً تمهيداً لنقل التجربة وتوسيع نطاق الاستفادة منها على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي.
جاء ذلك خلال اجتماع السيدة ابتهاج الاحمداني عضو مجلس إدارة غرفة قطر ورئيس منتدى سيدات الاعمال القطريات بمقر الغرفة، مع السيدة فاتو حيدرا، نائبة المدير العام لمنظمة اليونيدو، بحضور السيد علي بوشرباك المنصوري المدير العام المكلف بغرفة قطر، والدكتور هاشم سليمان حسين رئيس مكتب ترويج الاستثمار والتكنولوجيا في اليونيدو، والدكتور خالد حنفي الأمين العام لاتحاد الغرف العربية.

تحت رعاية معالي الشيخ محمد بن عبدالرحمن بن جاسم آل ثاني، رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، تنطلق يوم الثلاثاء المقبل 3 نوفمبر 2026 فعاليات "المؤتمر العالمي السادس للتحكيم الدولي" والذي ينظمه مركز قطر الدولي للتوفيق والتحكيم بغرفة قطر ويستمر لمدة يومين في فندق فيرمونت الدوحة، ويعقد تحت عنوان "الوسائل البديلة لتسوية المنازعات في عالم متغير: من الرقابة القضائية إلى الذكاء الاصطناعي"، وذلك بشراكة استراتيجية مع وزارة العدل وبرعاية استراتيجية من مجموعةQNB .

Under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Qatar International Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA) at Qatar Chamber will organise the 6th edition of the ‘World Conference on International Arbitration’ on 3–4 November at Fairmont Doha.
Held under the theme “ADR in a Changing World: From Judicial Oversight to AI,” the conference is supported by the Ministry of Justice as Strategic Partner and QNB Group as Strategic Sponsor.
This was revealed during a press conference held at Qatar Chamber headquarters on Tuesday, 27 October, led by H.E. Dr. Sheikh Thani bin Ali Al Thani, Vice Chairman of QICCA, and Mr. Ibrahim Shahbik, Secretary-General of QICCA, in the presence of representatives of the media.

Qatar Chamber participated in the Qatar Supply Chains Conference, organised by Al Sharq newspaper under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport. The Chamber was represented by H.E. Mohamed bin Twar Al-Kuwari, First Vice Chairman, and H.E. Eng. Ali bin Abdullatif Al-Misnad, Board Member.
In his opening remarks, H.E. Mohamed bin Twar highlighted the strategic role of supply chains in economic and food security, production continuity, market stability, and business competitiveness. He reaffirmed Qatar Chamber’s commitment to strengthening supply chains, coordinating with relevant authorities, conveying private-sector concerns, and addressing business challenges.

شاركت غرفة قطر في مؤتمر قطر لسلاسل الامداد والتوريد والذي تنظمه جريدة الشرق تحت رعاية وزارة المواصلات، حيث مثل الغرفة في المؤتمر سعادة السيد محمد بن طوار الكواري النائب الأول لرئيس مجلس الإدارة وسعادة المهندس علي بن عبد اللطيف المسند عضو مجلس الإدارة.
وألقى بن طوار كلمة في الجلسة الافتتاحية للمؤتمر اكد خلالها ان سلاسل الإمداد لم تعد مجرد عمليات نقل للسلع والمواد الخام، بل أصبحت عنصراً استراتيجياً يرتبط بالأمن الاقتصادي والغذائي، واستمرارية الإنتاج، واستقرار الأسواق، وقدرة الشركات على الحفاظ على استمراريتها وتنافسيتها.
واكد أن غرفة قطر تحرص على المساهمة في تعزيز منظومة سلاسل الإمداد والتوريد، والتنسيق مع الجهات المعنية واطلاعها على مرئيات القطاع الخاص، ورصد التحديات التي تواجه الشركات، والعمل على إيجاد الحلول المناسبة لها.

Dr. Amer Bisat, Lebanon’s Minister of Economy and Trade, and Mr. Omar Rekkache, Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency, to discuss strengthening trade and investment cooperation and exploring opportunities for the private sector. The meetings were attended by Qatar Chamber Board Member Mr. Mohamed Al-Obaidli.
Separately, Al-Obaidli met with Mr. Simon Madjidi, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, in the presence of Ms. Abena Amoah, Managing Director of the Ghana Stock Exchange, to discuss investment opportunities available in Ghana.

Mohammed bin Ahmed bin Twar Al Kuwari, First Vice-Chairman of the Qatar Chamber, received a business delegation from the Republic of Senegal led by Mr. Bakary Sega Bathily, Director General of Senegal’s Investment Promotion and Major Projects Agency (APIX), and including Ms. Habibatou, APIX's Investment Director. The meeting was attended by H.E. Mr. Sheikh Tidiane Sall, Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to the State of Qatar.
The meeting discussed trade and economic cooperation between Qatar and Senegal, and ways to strengthen partnerships between the business communities of both countries.
