Back in February, Kris did an interview about MechaBREAK with Insider Gaming.
He basically said players have no vision and they don't know what they want AND aren't equipped to have a vision for the game. This is how HIS Vision is going.
He has this weird eSports VISION but doesn't understand how comical the ranked system is in Mecha BREAK. It's painful to see this game with such a strong core being dragged through the mud because of someone's huge Ego.
Yes. Players don't always know what they want. The average player still doesn't know that you should attack the enemy payload if they're ahead. Yes, numbers are important and you should definitely have a vision as a developer.
But in a live service game, your vision only goes so far when there is overwhelming proof that things NEED to change. To succeed as a developer you need to pay attention to what players are saying especially if your metrics are tanking and things are overwhelmingly negative.
If you don't do this? Your game will fail.
Mecha BREAK has a sliver of a chance to get revived. But the leaders of the game NEED to be humbled and put their EGO away.
I made an AC with Calli-sama theme.
