Shor's algorithm will crack every ECDSA wallet.
4M+ Ethereum public keys already harvestable.
QP2 makes your address quantum-proof — without changing it.

Your crypto wallet has a flaw that cannot be patched. Not a bug. Not a contract exploit. A flaw in the math every Ethereum address is built on. A quantum computer breaks it. Google now says that's minutes away — not decades. Here's what nobody is telling you 🧵
Say Ethereum ships the precompiles (EIP-8051/8052) and post-quantum verification gets cheap. There's still a catch.
The signatures are bigger, so they eat more calldata — fewer transactions per block, and the chain grows faster forever.
Uniswap swaps per block → chain growth/year:
• ECDSA (today): 223 → ~28 GB
• FALCON-512: 208 → ~290 GB
• ML-DSA-44: 174 → ~1.1 TB
• ML-DSA-65: 161 → ~1.4 TB
• SPHINCS+: 73 → ~7.5 TB
Cheaper verification doesn't shrink the signature. Those bytes live on-chain forever — up to ~37× more data than ECDSA.
Post-quantum isn't just a compute problem. It's a data-growth problem.
Why "just switch Ethereum to post-quantum" isn't a config flag, in numbers:
A Uniswap swap, signed with each scheme on Ethereum today:
• ECDSA: ~134K gas → $2 → 1×
• ML-DSA-44: ~1.5M gas → $29 → 12×
• ML-DSA-65: ~1.7M gas → $33 → 14×
• FALCON-512: ~3.5M gas → $64 → 27×
• SPHINCS+: ~4.4M gas → $77 → 33×
The EVM has no native way to verify post-quantum signatures, so it runs the whole verification in-contract, burning millions of gas per trade.
Until native precompiles (EIP-8051/8052) ship, on-chain PQ isn't a config flag. It's an architecture problem.

The cruel twist of quantum nobody talks about:
Escaping is the dangerous part. To move your $ETH to safety, you sign with your vulnerable key, in a public mempool, exactly when attackers are watching. ⚛️
The exit is the exposure.
Quantum risk should not turn into a wallet security crisis.
QP2 is building the upgrade path before that happens.
QP2 will support addresses on @ethereumfndn@Bitcoin@solana@base@arbitrum@avax@binance and many more chains.

The question is not "IF" but "HOW"?
This is where QP2 comes in.
QP2 is building the quantum-security upgrade path for crypto wallets before quantum risk becomes urgent.
BINANCE FOUNDER CZ WARNS THAT QUANTUM COMPUTING COULD EVENTUALLY BREAK TODAY'S ENCRYPTION STANDARDS.
IF THAT HAPPENS, THE ENTIRE CRYPTO INDUSTRY MAY NEED TO UPGRADE TO QUANTUM-RESISTANT SECURITY.
❓SHOULD BITCOIN START PREPARING FOR A QUANTUM-RESISTANT UPGRADE NOW? 👀
Crypto people fear the wrong quantum threat.
Everyone worries about quantum out-mining Bitcoin. ⛏️ That's basically impossible, mining is hashing, and quantum barely dents hashing.
The real threat is your signature. 🔓 Quantum reads your public key and calculates your private one. That's the whole game. ⚛️

When the US government sets a 2031 deadline to transition off today's cryptography, that's not a distant warning. That's a countdown. ⏳
Every $BTC and $ETH wallet is on the clock. QP2 is the upgrade path.
BREAKING: 🇺🇸 PRESIDENT TRUMP JUST SIGNED TWO EXECUTIVE ORDERS ON QUANTUM TECHNOLOGIES
AMERICA IS RACING AHEAD OF CHINA IN THE NEXT ERA OF COMPUTING
THE ORDERS TASK:
⚡️ BUILD A U.S. QUANTUM COMPUTER IN 5 YEARS
⚡️ DEVELOP QUANTUM SENSORS AND NETWORKS
⚡️ TRANSITION TO QUANTUM CRYPTOGRAPHY BY 2031
⚡️ LEAD GLOBAL QUANTUM SECURITY STANDARDS
QUANTUM ARMS RACE IS HERE 🔥
🔓 The earliest $BTC ever mined sits in "P2PK" addresses, the public key is written directly on-chain in plaintext.
No hashing. No hiding. ~1.7M coins, including Satoshi's, fully exposed to a quantum computer right now.
QP2 is building the upgrade path. ⚛️

Is your BTC, SOL, ETH address quantum-exposed?
Once your public key touches the chain, a future quantum computer can derive your private key with Shor's algorithm. we'll check whether your key is already exposed and how urgent your risk is.
🚨 Everyone thinks Q-Day arrives with a headline.
It won't.
Whoever builds the first quantum computer that can break crypto has every reason to stay silent and use it quietly. 🤫 By the time you hear about it, your wallet's already gone. 💀
What actually happens 🧵👇

Good question. It's not contract-upgrade backward compat, it's a layer below that.
Identity = a CREATE2 address.
Auth = a verifier in a swappable slot.
You rotate the verifier (ECDSA → PQ) without touching the address, so every existing integration keeps working by default. Radical mechanism, backward-compatible outcome.
🚨 100% of Solana addresses are quantum-vulnerable.
Every. Single. One. 🔓
A quantum computer turns every exposed public key into your private key. The faster Solana goes, the faster it bleeds. ⚡

We made Ethereum wallets where the cryptography is upgradeable but the address is permanent.
First post is live explaining how — and why nobody built it this way before.

@jim_incrypto@MerlijnTrader The real challenge isn't cost — it's that upgrading your cryptography on Ethereum means changing your address. That's what we're solving at QP2. https://t.co/0N0SRMiybQ
Everyone treats quantum like a 2030 problem.
It's not.
The moment you sign an Ethereum tx, your public key is on-chain — forever. Quantum doesn't need to be here today. It just needs to harvest now, decrypt later.
And you can't patch immutability.

@CitadelDaniel@pete_rizzo_ What if he's right though.
Google cut the cost to break ECDSA 20x this year. "FUD" is just the sound people make right before they get caught off guard — which is exactly why we're building QP2.
@AStatlenz@pete_rizzo_ You're not wrong to be worried — the threat is real.
But the fix already exists: quantum-safe cryptography that the new computers can't crack. We're building it into a protocol at QP2 right now. Doom is optional.
