Eid Mubarak!
Today as we honor Prophet Ibrahim, Eid al-Adha reminds us that sacrifice is not a burden. It is an opportunity to see ourselves as part of something larger. To extend a hand to those who need it most.
I am honored to be New York City's first Muslim Mayor and I am determined to lead through solidarity. Together, we are working to ensure every New Yorker can afford the groceries, housing, and child care they need.
Our solidarity is our strength. Eid Saeed, New York.
@SpeLLiTineRarY@CalebFromX@russdiemon I do understand it. I said that because I’m in the industry and what a lot of the public thinks is going on isn’t. Like 50% is right but the industry plant narrative is so washed and tired as an insult. Thats all. People work too hard to be discredited.
@SpeLLiTineRarY@CalebFromX@russdiemon Lmaooo usuing AI, wiki and Reddit as sources. Also niggas did not curse at you or get defensive. Just asked a question about real examples of someone doing that and the industry didn’t know? The public doesn’t know anything till they know. I really think the term is silly.
@swelloprincipal@CalebFromX@russdiemon That’s just not true. You had to be tapped in. There’s proof of her growth organically and then boom she gets signed to a label and then the label does their job. It’s not rocket science
@co99109@Double_Oh_Panda Nahhh we gotta stop this shit. Some people don’t deserve to have a voice. Being this loud and wrong is why we have people in power that shouldn’t be there.
@Domthgreat@jackfreeman That’s just how it is. The Grammys are for the music industry and their peers not the general public. They put on a show for the general public but the awards are just for them.
@BreezeTheGhost@babibunie What are you talking on about? This years Grammys are so fair off noms alone. Plenty of indies on the list with major distribution. These labels do not have the cash they once used to. This is vanity awards at this point.
