This remarkable fact is a function of two things: (1) Grossly unequal group IQ distribution curves, and (2) PhDs earned by blacks being diminished by affirmative action admissions and less cognitively-demanding subject areas.
Also significant: There's a larger Asian-white gap at the highest parental education levels than there is a white-black gap.
People who are serious about the climate do things like plant trees, stop clearcutting of forests, build human scaled neighborhoods, restore oyster reefs etc.
People who are unserious about the climate fiddle with emission rights figures, whine about carbon emissions on TV talk shows, vote "green", build wind power "somewhere else", and blame weather etc. https://t.co/vjL0DquCxZ
That’s the demo I seek to reach as my mission. Men entering more seasoned stage of life.
To reach the “youth vote,” I would need to up the heat on rhetoric, be more performative. Put on a show. No hate to those who do that. For me, my aims are different.
It’s so obviously retarded that it’s safe to assume any >115 IQ person who claims to be EA is really just using it as a pretext to be evil, because no intelligent person can believe it
If an ingredient list says carmine, cochineal extract, or Natural Red 4, that's an insect. A scale insect farmed on cactus, mostly in Peru, dried and crushed. It takes around 70,000 of them to make a pound of dye. It's in strawberry yogurt, pink candy, juice, some cheese spreads, and most red lipstick.
Until 2011 the label didn't have to say much. Carmine could be listed as artificial color or just color added. FDA changed it after reports of severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis, and now the name has to be printed. The part I find interesting is what FDA left out. The petition asked that labels also state the color comes from insects. The dairy industry objected, saying there was no need, and FDA agreed. So the rule is that the word carmine has to appear, and nothing has to tell you what carmine is.
It's terrifying, but practically every company that has contacted me in recent weeks has been offering to make us "compliant" with some new EU/state regulation:
1. One company contacted me asking whether we ship goods within the EU and whether we need help with the new PPWR "packaging" regulation.
2. Another company asked whether we already have an e-invoicing provider — and if not, we could do it through them.
3. Companies have been contacting me for years offering GDPR compliance.
4. Every now and then I get calls asking whether we provide mandatory "health care" for our employees.
5. Even though we ARE an IT security company, companies keep contacting me because of NIS2, asking whether we want an external security manager.
6. Consultants have already called asking whether we need ESG / CSRD reporting (sustainability reporting).
7. Last week yet another company reached out asking whether we need to update our "transfer pricing" documentation because of some changes in the law.
What do all these companies and their services have in common?
Their business is built on some state regulation. Outside the EU, nobody would voluntarily order their services. In the EU, you have to — because the law requires it.
In economic theory, this is called rent-seeking: entirely new business sectors created without producing any real value — the only "value" is being compliant with some state regulation.
They say the total tax burden in Slovakia is 64%. I'd argue it's substantially higher. EU companies have to pay for things that make no sense outside the EU and that nobody there would ever order without regulatory pressure.
In my view, half of the costs European companies bear are compliance costs for some European/state regulation. And then we wonder why we're not competitive with the rest of the world.
When you think about it, it's absolutely brutal.
Doing business in the EU is masochism.

New Aporia article. An extremely common form of immigration today is designed to prop up failing institutions, whether they be companies, industries, universities, local governments, even churches. This is akin to other forms of rent-seeking, but much more destructive.
THEY COVERED OUR FUCKING FACES
In February 2020, masks were ridiculous. By May, not wearing one was.
That transformation should still astonish us. There was no scientific revolution in those few months. No great new body of randomized evidence suddenly showed that covering billions of healthy faces would stop a respiratory virus. What changed first was SOCIAL REALITY.
Masks became one of the cleanest membership signals I have ever witnessed. From fifty feet away, without exchanging a word, you could tell who belonged. Then membership became morality: I CARE. I FOLLOW SCIENCE. I PROTECT OTHERS. The bare human face became selfish.
Only after that came the great evidentiary avalanche. Observational studies, correlations, models, laboratory demonstrations, mannequin experiments, mechanistic arguments — hundreds of low-grade ways of “showing” that the thing everyone now needed to believe obviously worked.
Meanwhile, the arguments AGAINST mass masking were everywhere. Randomized trials. Aerosol physics. Industrial hygiene. Respiratory physiology. Microbiology. Vision. Speech. Facial expression. Identity. Child development. Bodily autonomy.
Some were technical. Some were so obvious you needed a mass hysteria not to see them.
And that, I think, was part of what made masks such perfect membership signals. A sensible, painless behavior proves little about allegiance. But cover your face all day. Muffle your speech. Make yourself uncomfortable. Do it outdoors. Do it between bites at a restaurant. Do it even when the rationale makes no sense. NOW you’re demonstrating something. The absurdity made the signal stronger.
At the time, I accumulated long threads of arguments against masks, including several almost nobody else seemed to be making — especially about perception, cognition, facial communication, and the social consequences of hiding the human face.
Here are many of them.

I reject everything the Boomers did, and we're going to continue to seize power and choose a different path for our own future. We set the terms of our own destiny.
Kids who were chronically bullied and end up timid as adults generally come from poor homes, have abusive or chronically absent parents, have disabilities or have other things either inherent to them or chosen hobbies which are ‘abnormal’ that cause them to be bullied.
Kids who are bullies had parents who kissed the ground they walked on and defend them from any criticism tooth and nail.
The entire ‘Nelson Muntz’ theory of the bullies “only acting like that because they’re living in a poor broken home by the rail-tracks” was an entirely backwards and cruel lie.
In 2016, the Netherlands Meteorological Institute adjusted temperatures at De Bilt, the country's main climate station.
Daily maximums from 1901 to 1950 were lowered by up to 1.9C, which removed 16 of 23 heatwaves from the record.
The altered data were then used to claim modern heatwaves were unprecedented.
Four researchers challenged the changes, but the institute dismissed the criticism, so the analysis went to peer review. In 2021, it was published, conclusively demonstrating the institute's method systematically erased historical heat extremes.
Today, the Meteorological Institute has quietly changed its approach, and as a result, seven erased heatwaves have been restored, including the extreme summer of 1947.
Here again, we have a government agency caught rewriting climate history. The Netherlands Meteorological Institute erased heatwaves of the past, ignored critics, and reinstated the truth only when the evidence became impossible to ignore.
Policies were built on that manipulated record. Dutch farmers lost livelihoods. Industry and the wider economy paid the price. But accountability is coming.
A very unpopular opinion:
In practice, communism is closer to religion than atheism is.
Atheism merely says, “I don’t believe in gods.”
Communism offers doctrine, moral commandments, heretics, ideological authorities, original sin in the existing order, and a promised earthly salvation, then historically has often crushed religions competing for allegiance.
Atheism requires no faith. Communism can demand plenty of it.
