🎓 Marcin Welter successfully defended his excellent MSc thesis on „Reproducing Feshbach resonances between alkali-like molecule and atom”, supervised by Prof. @MichalTomza. He will continue in our group as a PhD student after the summer.

👏 Congratulations, Marcin!

[Tomza Group on Quantum Molecular Systems @QuantMol]

🎓 Jan Okoński @jdokonski successfully defended his excellent BSc thesis on accurate calculations of neutral and ionic metal hydrides, supervised by Prof. @MichalTomza.

👏 Congratulations, Jan!

We developed a generalized Gross-Pitaevskii equation for studying two-dimensional attractive Bose gases that captures quantum-anomaly effects. We used it to predict droplet dynamics, breathing modes, and universal excited states that could be observed experimentally.
