Integrating C# and Python for real-time analytics pipelines has its configuration challenges but can provide a great solution for combining performance, interoperability, and ML capabilities.
@travishou713 @Model3Owners Average miles driven per year for all, pre-pandemic, was 13K. But down 17% since 2020. Average for EVs is going to be less as well because of range limits. https://t.co/SEEpIEG8O8
@travishou713 @Model3Owners Additional. The normal registration fees apply as well. I'd be good with an annual odometer check-in with weight factor. Consumption based and fair.
@travishou713 @Model3Owners Some of us are paying $200/year additional tax for vehicles we drive less than 4000 miles. People that misrepresent others opinions are really annoying as well.
@travishou713 @Model3Owners Advocating for a smarter/fairer approach is not the same as "no taxes ever!". Less than 1% of the cars on the road are EVs, so there's no significant revenue impact or urgent need to implement a bad policy.
@Model3Owners Agree that this is dumb and unfairly applied to EV owners (in Ohio). 1) The flat EV tax rates were based upon a pre-pandemic "average" miles driven, before so many of us telecommuted. Gas tax is based upon consumption. 2) We should be incentivizing clean energy not the opposite
@EconomPic It depends on the company, the culture, and whether you mean should these things be allowed or just do you think it's a good idea. For those that vote no, do you believe companies should participate in community service, make political contributions, or engage lobbyists?
@NorthmanTrader@TruthGundlach Don't necessarily disagree with the thesis, but as others have commented, plotting a nominal value vs. percent change can be misleading.
@ReformedBroker Data quality is important. Ability to accurately consume the data in a model and interpret the results is important. With the right skill set and tools (probably not the average retail investor), more data will improve accuracy in most cases.
