@scottmelker Or did they "risk" it to get that big of a payout...with no risk of jail time. Seems like an easy decision, yes ill take the 2.68 mill please and thank you.
@VolumePrintcess@Milajoy Call up that therapist, you just called someone sympathizing with another person a bot while you sass people over the internet while at the same time saying to spread love...make it make sense.
@VolumePrintcess@Milajoy Stefanie, as someone who creates no value to the world and makes more money than every person who actual makes your world work by simply looking at flows of money on a monitor, maybe less sass out of you. The world is broken, you're the one living a fairy tail.
@brian_armstrong Would be lovely if we actually lived in a true capitalistic society but unfortunately we live under this shitty crony capitalism. The government drives everything into mega corps while small businesses can't survive. The end game of this setup doesn't go well for the powerful.
@DrJackKruse I disagree, if the world continues to move away from globalization bitcoin for international payments of imports and exports between countries who dont trust eachother makes sense, plus inflationary monitary policy...easily could happen.
@PeterSchiff@saylor Peter you finally convinced me. Your 10,000th post simply yelling into the void for everyone to sell BTC for no reason other than "It's a ponzi!". I didn't want to sell the past 9,999 times but this time hits different!...just kidding retard. 🤣😂
@PeterSchiff@GlimpseMarkets No one except wall street wants tokenized gold or bitcoin. It's the fact that self custody is superior with bitcoin rather than gold. Have fun shoving all your gold up your ass to cross a border Pete, and we wish you luck not getting caught in the act...that would be embarrASSing
@lasertweezer @logann001@drakefjustin And the rational people will take into account whether quantum has progressed or not and adopt the best solution when it is pertinent.
@tremulant1@1914ad There is no good solution right now. Satoshi used RIPEMD-160 for address generation because it was not developed by the NSA or NIST. Why? B/c he didn't want a US gov backdoor into bitcoin. Bitcoin must make the right choice on quantum. Buy ETH to move fast and break shit kid.
@nic_carter@soundmonies All of them acknowledge the risk, they are just more realistic about the timeline. You could just as easily ruin BTC by rushing some shitty PQC bip. For some reason you havent thought of that.
@Kevin_McKernan I think its more likely the tech advances in a way that you could crack one wallet with a year of compute so if you're a bad actor you'd want to hack the satoshi wallet and smash sell as fast as possible. I think not hackable to hacking 20k wallets in a day is far less likely.
@lasertweezer @drakefjustin The larger the number, the more difficult the task. So no, factoring a trivial number that any human can do does not make all numbers factorable.
