The thing about the Russell 2k....is that it represents "America" more than the mega caps...80% of the voting population is employed by small and medium size business..far more than SPX which has about 18%.

Politically, the Russell 2k represents more of the economy that politicians must cater to for votes.

So, the Russell 2k down 10% from the August highs heading into an election is not a positive for the incumbent.

Elon's announced gift of 1 SpaceX share to every child next year (via Trump accounts) represents approximately $10 billion, and approximately 1% of Elon's common share holdings.

This is the best measure of the broad economy.

It was incredibly difficult to sit and watch the market run today, without participating.

My only solace is knowing that if I had been aggressive and bought after 10am my stop would have been 25 points, and the max R:R would have been 2:1. This isn't a great setup for me.
