remember this… this is the key:

the algorithm acts in a way that simulates the sequence not being there… in order to confuse you.

its mechanism is to create SSMT so the sequence appears broken & escapes the human eye that naturally searches for patterns.

that’s why one asset can have:

D Q3 - 90m Q3 - Micro Q3

and the other asset:

D Q3 - 90m Q3 - Micro Q2 <- SSMT

and the other asset:

D Q3 - 90m Q2 <- SSMT - Micro Q3

Always combine a minimum of 3 quarters!

Q4 and Q1 are the only combinable quarters.

Based on my own experience, I believe starting with SMC is better, and then moving into ICT, because ICT can be very complex if you don’t first have a solid understanding of what liquidity is.

I think SMC defines liquidity in a logical and simple way, and once you truly understand that, you can move into the major leagues, which is ICT concepts in depth, and become a professional in what truly matters: TIME.
