@claymoreRPGs we use D6s for Quasar's weapon attacks and for defense dice. for skill checks it's a 2D3 pool of effort dice that characters roll whenever they rest up though you can "gamble" on a check by adding a D6 to it, if you roll a 1 or fail the GM can let things go catastrophically wrong

I'm not great at regular posting but I've got a new game and imma talk about it ! I made Rats in the trenches for a local game jam and it's kind of an answer to how inaccessible wargames can be with all their minis and terrain and playmats and stuff. 🧵-

Everything moves on cards except for your different warlords and as a result the game lets you do some stealth and deception mechanics with face down tokens and cards for specific abilities and traps, this lets some factions be more unconventional in their tactics.
