Year 4 had an unexpected surprise this week as they were out litter picking! They found some strange and unusual objects! In the classroom, they had a serious talk from PC Wilko about how to keep safe when walking through the woods. Be careful over the weekend!@QuayAcademy

This week Year 1 have been archeologists! We have been investigating how to get Ice Age artefacts out of the ice without damaging them. We tried using a hair dryer, melting them in the sun and smashing them. #History #coreknowledge

We had a special visitor in year 1 today! Ozzie came to teach us all about how to look after a pet, and we are creating leaflets to let other people know the information we learnt today! #Science

Year 1 have really enjoyed singing our Christmas songs at Portland Place this afternoon. We all enjoyed a biscuit and some juice and got some sweets to take home!
