@antibearthesis bank or anybody wont borrow $10M without insurance so it is just another investment option if you already have such funds, given 6% ROI not even most lucrative one and still pretty risky if X goes bankrupt
@DOTA2 wtf dota???y have CHEATERS BOSTERS SMURFS,TOXIC community ….its problem ,,,PROBLEM…my friends jot play dota…my group 50 people not played….wtf dota
@zuess05 you care if code is messy once you have production bug that looses revenue, you care how fast you are able to fix that as AI may or may not fix that when instructed to do so, also that messy code is actually causing someone to take 3 days to review changes
@swapnakpanda yeah sure, can’t wait when Claude is down and he is prompting his way out of it at 4AM via chatgpt, instead of calling his devs to wake up and fix things 😂😂
@elonmusk money helps avoid waste to some extent as people tend to waste less if they bought goods for hard earned money, so this won’t work unless we operate under limits (buying power), you can get only given amount of goods each day, as even AI produces finite surplus
@elonmusk money in such case would be useless as currently it does help government drive what people do to some extent - you want this or that you need to earn something first (provide some value - you get rewarded based on value you provide)
@kareem_carr it is mostly hype, some work can be offloaded, especially if you have narrow skills definition, but requires high cognitive load to constantly review what AI is doing and as usual saying goes, new member of team always slows down whole team (AI is just constantly new member)
@k1rallik given devs use APIs to utilize DLSS, there probably will be more options and deliberate choice tp not use it if your goal is not photorealism
@r0ck3t23 even the best senior engineer needs to be challenged by equally skilled or more skilled engineer if not quality drops, even if AI can do end-to-end development it cannot challenge itself, it just recognizes patterns that fit best current task and it is very good at that
@TukiFromKL when sonar was introduced it did not remove need for senior devs, when probabilistic sonar on steroids is introduced same thing happens, less comments regarding code itself, more or only comments regarding intent of code (from perspective of senior devs)
@klos context is too vague here, not sure what you wanted from that guy for $10k, knowing that to hire decent developer takes ages (as most candidates do not even know basics and are clueless) in that area AI shines, allows to ship
@SimonHoiberg Even if AI can make less mistakes and surely it will be like that, can’t really imagine CEO using it to generate code 😂 demand for operators will be still high especially as bugfree generation probably wont reach 100% anytime soon, if it is even possible at all
@johnrush not realistic human supervisors cannot keep up with such enormous amount of code added, technical debt would accelerate exponentially with such inhumane speed of development unless contained correctly
@vineerpasam 2/2 Unless we invent better workflow and optimize price usage, it may stay like that for a while, AI requires tremendous skill and high level of meta-cognition for developer to be efficient, without that you will just stack technical debt that will explode to your face over time
@vineerpasam There is only certain amount of context human can comprehend, even if AI speeds up generation, it accumulates technical debt unless supervised on micro level - which in the end can be slower than writing manually, in software development everything is trade off, even AI 1/2
@_devJNS Compiler optimized for AI and maybe new programming language optimized for AI models - sure! AI generating binary probably not, AI is performing worse with low programming languages compared to high ones, with binary it will be even worse plus training auch AI would be nightmare
@r0ck3t23 as already said programming language is not a friction but tool, human language is abstract and not deterministic, which would make debugging it impossible even if such compiler would exist, humans still need understandable interface - instruction based language
@Elesender1@uniquemoviemom I mean time manipulating themes are always hard as they violate cosmos laws as we know them, but apart of this weird thing great movie!
