@HarmeetKDhillon Nothing wrong with that! I like my husband to do the traditionally “man” things around the house, but if he’s not available, or, like before I met him, I am fully capable of doing it myself.
@mikethewolveri1@renabaddie_ I look for patterns. The pattern here without changing any functions and just doing the addition, is adding the sum from the previous line. 5+8=13+21=34
@renabaddie_ 34 or 45, depending on what pattern you see. I’d go with 34, because it doesn’t involve changing a function. (The sum of each line, added to the previous sum; ie 1+4=5; 2+5=7 +5=12; 3+6=9+12=21; 5+8=13+21=34)
@TRHLofficial Yes. More than once! Best though was at Steubenville East in 1998, during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Too much to explain, but I will never not believe in the Real Presence.
@Danny429300@PJ_Lowry@CNviolations Don’t misunderstand, I’m not advocating for tipping regardless of service. That wasn’t the argument. What will disincentivize staff to provide excellent service is the European model.
@Danny429300@PJ_Lowry@CNviolations And I say this as someone who spent 20+ years in the industry, from waiting, to tending, to mgr, to owner. You don’t get in this biz to get rich, you do it cause you love it.
@Danny429300@PJ_Lowry@CNviolations And that has nothing to do with pay rates, and a whole lot more to do with regulatory differences and an entire system they subsidize with taxes. Restaurants run on razor thin margins; servers making avg $30+/hr on tips aren’t gonna stay making $15-20 flat rate.
@D2TK@KeystoneSP@CNviolations No server worth their salt is gonna run their ass off for a base wage that doesn’t reflect what their avg presently is, and I bet anyone who bitches about tipping wont like the menu price increase.
@PJ_Lowry@CNviolations People who bitch about tipping are the same people that will bitch when their burger goes from $15 to $25. Stfu and hit up a drive thru already.
