@SketchesbyBoze Tell me you’ve never touched medieval literature without telling me you’ve never touched medieval literature. I guess she wasn’t an English major.
@SketchesbyBoze Ignoring my personal feelings about this, I can understand the deep burning desire to have a dramatic shot of Charn zooming in as “All Along the Watchtower” plays. But if they’re leaning into ‘60s music… shouldn’t they have set it in the ‘60s instead of the ‘50s?
@BarneysRubble0@Telegraph I don’t think proudly proclaiming themselves the only person who couldn’t understand your piece is quite the crown of laurels this writer thinks it is.
@keewa I think it must be because (1) our version of canned baked beans is extraordinarily sweet and pretty repulsive on its own, and (2) though we actually have a very similar version of this meal (beans and cornbread) we never have it at breakfast
@townsendyesmate I used to work a 4-day week, and even though it was longer days I loved it. One day off for errands/chores, one to rest, and one to do something fun. With only two days, one always has to go, and it usually can’t be the chores.
@emilypawley Fluorescent lights break down the rods and cones in your eyes, which is why adults begin to lose their night vision after years of them. Chances are the lights, designed by adults, feel too bright for your students’ young eyes.
@mstiefvater I’m so sorry you’re dealing with bad news, Maggie! I hope for a turn for the better soon. In spite of the negative, the green looks fabulous.
