Hey guys if you want to support a small business consider buying this mug from my friends store. It’s one of the most affordable anti-Trump mugs on Etsy and it would really help her out. Thanks! ❤️ https://t.co/sBKP80eRsY
@rated_by_me @thecarpetelf @lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ Yeah I think that’s why a lot of people just opt to stay in the country they were born in. I agree immigrating, as long as you’re a productive member of society should be easier.
@lauren_newlove @rated_by_me @thecarpetelf @mariisssaa____ Also it’s the anxiety of not being able to leave the country cause you know you probably won’t be able to get back in. This is especially hard if you built a life and have children in the country you immigrated to. 😞
@lauren_newlove @rated_by_me @thecarpetelf @mariisssaa____ Yeah that’s tough, I personally know people in your same situation here in U.S. they also can’t drive themselves to and from work. If they get pulled over they can get deported. Seems like something so small that we take for granted...
@Sydney_Smith467@lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ Yeah, that’s a tough clause to work around especially if you’re from a communist country, that’s how they keep the people stuck :/ a lot of people don’t have the amount of money they require you to have before you can ask for a visa and they can still reject the visa too.
@rated_by_me @thecarpetelf @lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ I don’t believe I stated it was easy to immigrate anywhere perhaps you misunderstood? I was simply highlighting what you said about immigration being hard anywhere not just in the U.S. and sharing an example of that.
@pacalaga @thecarpetelf @lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ Yupp that’s what a lot of people have said. I think if I was 100% sure I liked the country I would just give up my U.S. citizenship (assuming I can see family later on etc.) it becomes complicated but we all have to make decisions in life :/
@Jordan76909685 @thecarpetelf @lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ I think it’s hard being an immigrant anywhere. I’m asking people why they moved back to NA (not just the U.S.) if they had a stable job/income in the country they immigrated to. A lot of people have said family, taxes, etc.
@Sydney_Smith467@lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ Do you think it’s gotten harder in recent years getting a visa? I have friends from Brazil that are finding it hard to get renew their visa here in the U.S. it’s crazy that’s it’s happening when asking for visas to other countries as well :/
@rated_by_me @thecarpetelf @lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ You sound very defensive. Everyone else provided a constructive and meaningful conversation, that’s all that’s happening here. I never said it wasn’t “clicking” just asking questions and seeing a different perspective/experience.
@rated_by_me @thecarpetelf @lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ I’m an Immigrant I know. A lot of Cubans for example find themselves making the choice of having to seek asylum in another country knowing they might never be able to go back to Cuba and see family again. It’s an issue in a lot of countries not just the U.S.
@PeachBratty@lauren_newlove@mariisssaa____ Yes I suppose it’s a different experience, I would much rather experience the struggle in the U.S. than in Cuba though. I thankfully have that choice :/ a luxury a lot of Cubans don’t have. It’s sad to see people from your own country struggle...
