Medical student and self taught Web Developer in progress
Passionate about learning, a clean UI and building a community in the tech space.
Proud lover of God♥
It’s been a hot minute since I posted here
Trying to stay consistent with life, work, social media, final year….. omoooo😂😂
You guys that do it Biko show me way ooo cause I don’t knowwww again oo
Been in a weird, confusing, heavy place for months now.
Not lazy. Not unserious. Just struggling.
It affected my consistency, my focus, even how I show up.
I kept trying to “push through”
The truth is sometimes you don’t need more discipline but a RESET
If you relate, I SEE YOU
Day 50
50 days down. I wanna be a cracked backend dev.
The first part of error handling was handling undefined routes
By creating a middleware after the routers to handle all routes using app.all('*')
Day 9 of Nodejs
When I learnt Nextjs SSR was explained
Now I'm doing Node I just realized I am practicing SSR at the most fundamental level
The backend produce the files and Templates then add a replacement logic that loops through then finally injected into the html

Tech teaches you how to build systems.
Life teaches you how easily systems break.
Some days you’re shipping features, learning fast, feeling capable.
Other days you’re tired, doubting yourself, wondering if you chose the right path.
How are you guys feeling today?

Day 6 of Nodejs
Today I created my first simple Api
After creating the routes yesterday
I used the "__dirname" variable to read the json file and used synchronous data loading so it will be read once
then in /api It uses res.writeHead to tell the browser the content is JSON
Quote of the day:
The starting point of all achievement is DESIRE.
Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat.
You have to be freakin obsessed and have burning DESIRE for SUCCESS

I can’t overemphasize talking about yourself and what you do, I am now a living testimony of what putting yourself out there can do
You have a mouth people, use it. Stop being in a hurry to leave places including church, you don’t know who is who
TALK ABOUT WHAT YOU DO!!
While migrating, I noticed how slow the initial load was.
I realized I was shipping massive, unnecessary libraries like jQuery just for simple UI tricks. I ripped those out and replaced them with proper React/CSS implementations. Huge weight savings.
The Migration
JS → TS. Renaming files to .tsx and watching the terminal turn red is annoying, but fixing those errors one component at a time was satisfying.
Writing Interfaces for my props and fixing any types The codebase feels much more mature and scalable now.
One of The best ways to solidify new knowledge is to "break" your existing projects.
I just finished learning TypeScript and decided to migrate my entire React portfolio codebase. While I working, I found some major performance issues that needed fixing
Here’s what I changed 🧵
There are tech paths that aren’t loud but they are very resourceful and have leverage. They don’t even sound like TECH.
Systems thinking
Automation architecture
Technical operations, Omo it’s plenty 😂
They sit very close to money, decisions and power it’s stunning

To be honest, it’s not easy 🥹…
Respect to every student out there who’s trying to also build their finances by the side, through remote work
Especially for someone like me who work full-time remotely as a student, and still have freelance gigs by the side, whilst dealing with a course like Engineering…
I know the way we talk about it and encourage students to be intentional with getting financially empowered , can sometimes made it seem like it’s easy
But trust me, it’s not
It has never really been easy
It sometimes can be overwhelming
Some people reach out asking me how I combine everything I do with school,
I’ve been getting DMs like this since 2023 and my reply has always been consistent…
I don’t try to balance anything,
Right before I resumed into 100L I’ve settled it within my mind that Balance is impossible, I only need to prioritize and make sacrifices where necessary
I used the exact words:
“The balance you’re looking for is in the sacrifices you have to make”
In a 2hrs50mins Live Audio Session I had with my WhatsApp community in August 2023
But nothing prepares you for the reality, no matter how much you’re prepared mentally
I’m not complaining,
Because it really is worth it,
And it’s such an intentional move especially in a country like Nigeria where there are more unemployed graduates than the employed ones, with no guarantee
But yeah, I’m just sharing this so you can know that it’s not as rosy as it seems sometimes
Yes, it’s exciting when you receive the pay $$$ at the end of the money
It feels great when you get a new client
But no one talks about the part where it can get so overwhelming that you almost lose your mind, especially with how the University system Can be very somehow.
Will I still encourage student to learn a digital skill? Absolutely, Always
But then, also prepare your mind for this part you rarely see on the internet.
If you work remotely as a student, how do you manage everything without running mad?
Today felt so overwhelming I don’t even have the brain power to organize a post for today, but I said I must post something everyday
This is me being honest cause we rarely bring our down days in the open. If you are seeing this, WELL DONE🙃💕 it’s not easy #Consistency#Tech
Tech is way bigger than what most of us see
It’s not just coding
It’s systems, security, infrastructure, automation, product thinking, AI workflows, and so much more
The industry is so wide, the more I research my mind is blown
I’ll start sharing some discoveries as I go #Tech
