My hot take is that as women, we need to let ourselves be, more and more. Wear your natural nails, your natural lashes, rock your fro. For Chrissakes, we’re human beings not machines. The whole “maintenance” and now “beauty maxxing” culture has always rubbed me off the wrong way. Women please breathe and live! There’s nothing wrong with your natural state!
The fact that we treat sewing like a cutesy feminine hobby when it requires the most insane combination of math, precision, skill, and patience is because of sexism.
Thank you everyone ☺️. I am physically incapable to respond to every comment but I am grateful and honored to be a Nigerian🇳🇬 and wear my identity proudly 😇.
Here’s a video of me giving my valedictorian speech in Russian ✨
Before you pass away, Remove your kids as direct beneficiaries of your assets. Then place all your assets in a revocable trust and name your kids as the beneficiary of the trust. This allows them to by pass the lengthy probate process and gain immediate access to the assets.
Changed National Anthem that has been there for ages
Changed NYSC Khaki that Corpers have been wearing from day 1
The country has tons of problems that needs sorting out but no, let the Corpers start wearing Adire 💔
Adire and Ankara can’t be the uniform for all NYSC members across the country. We are all not from the SW region.
The current uniform is sexless, detribalized and smart.
NYSC is still one of the few programmes that genuinely promotes national unity by exposing young Nigerians to different cultures, people and ways of life.
Rather than focusing on cosmetic changes like uniforms or ceremonies, we should be addressing the real issues affecting the scheme and investing in practical, long-term entrepreneurship education.
The FG should rethink this.
My children have been ready for school since 7:05 am.
But this heavy rain is too much for me to allow them to go to school.
I told them to climb the bed and sleep.
Can you imagine? These children have been crying that Daddy should take them to school.
They don't want to stay at home.
Negodu umuaka kweshiri idi very grateful for this rain and enjoy the rest of their day; they are here crying.
All these city children don't even know the joy of childhood.😒
