@Uno_009 What I see here is lack of understanding lol
You're trying to be seen and recognized by them even as far as introducing the culture and naming the kids with their local Yoruba name.
Just be yourself and accept who the hell you are! You're igbo and your children are half igbo.
@kenkenlewu If his husband could afford that kind of money then they ain't poor and he could have employed a caregiver.
Men should learn that their wives are NOT SLAVES!
@TDeisine That's why in the igbo Culture, we have umuokpu and they're always welcomed home.
The truth is that even inside creating that umuokpu, their parents especially their fathers, sees them as stigma n always urges them to go back to their husband's house when an argument arises.
@Iamquddus007@CHRISO_CHR@instablog9ja Continue making up excuses for yourself and looking for people to experiment on just to suit your narrative. Pretend you work harder than Elon Musk if you like, it's still your child, and your job as a father and a husband is not only to work and provide.
If u like don't learn.
@Iamquddus007@CHRISO_CHR@instablog9ja Thinking thinker!
You're just giving unnecessary excuses. If the woman has a meeting to attend to then the man should step up. That's what family is all about. Providing is not the only duty of a man.
@Iamquddus007@CHRISO_CHR@instablog9ja Oga rest and stop assuming and imagining bullshit!
The child in question is the man's child. If the woman is busy, he should step up. Y'all want a wife who doubles as a nurse and a laborer, yet you're always making excuses to avoid taking care of your own child.
@instablog9ja I believe that relationship is partnership and it is OUR HOME! Building is always part of what I grew up believing in and my supposed husband should know that I am not jacky and I deserved some rest after the hustle day.
It's just a temporary switch, so we'll would manage.
@Mikeliberation I was talking to a Chinese man named Mr Lee, he n his crew opened furniture company here in Ogun. They decided to pay their workers monthly as it was done in their country but the manager told them no, that the start up salary should be 20k. They were shocked n moved on with it.
