I was on Acute Medical Unit for 21 hours over the weekend. My observation is that the trainees/“juniors” worked incredibly hard and the acuity and complexity of the patients are a world away from when I was a houseman in the 1980s

@gaswomancometh It’s tough. Practice. That is it. If you have an arm out in a long case, scan it. Find the median nerve (easy), radial nerve, ulnar nerve. If you have the feet,find the deep peroneal and the saphenous. Then the complex stuff becomes easier. I speak from a position of rubbish. ❤️
