I spent a chunk of my early years around Mormons and they were in general exemplary people. Solid families, friendly and open. If I had one complaint it would be aggressive proselytizing - which even happened on the school bus. But that is also a healthy sign of confidence in their way of life.
Exact discussions of their theology strike me as beside the point when they frequently live more ‘Christian lives’ than men serving as Jesuit priests or leaders of prosperity gospel megachurches - which are basically a Sunday infomercial.
You took a Covid shot and almost died, Colin. And then you kept quiet about it, despite the fact that your experience had the ability to protect others. I’ll take my method over yours, thanks.
every time the media and the political classes assure you that something is not happening and that only conspiracy theorists believe that it is, show them this.
this is not to say that every conspiracy is true. obviously, they aren't.
but this does not change a fundamental truth:
trusting the state and the media to make that judgment for you makes believing the stripper really likes you look like a sound basis for decision-making.
@ayazahmet123@BuckSexton I think of them as really dishonest people who are fully aware of what they’re doing, but maybe they really believe they’re being honest and fair and virtuous. That would really show how effed up the whole thing is.
