I’ve noticed that when it’s anything to do with the Targaryen kids, Ryan Condal just completely cuts it out, no matter how important it is to the story.

Aegon and Viserys not being at the Gullet is almost just as bad as Maelor not being involved in the B&C sequence.

@hiraethsoluna @LinaDayne Rhaenyra was also quite incompetent in the book. She remained passive while others fought and died to win the throne for her. Her incompetence is what killed Joffrey and caused the storming of the Dragonpit. Despite having Syrax right there at the Red Keep, she did nothing.

Also Daeron would’ve spend some of his childhood in the Red Keep. Alicent obviously didn’t send him away as a baby the moment he was born… Rhaenyra and Daemon would know of the boy’s hair color.

I can see him flying to Harrenhal to kill Aemond after reuniting with Sunfyre, only to find it abandoned. Then giving up the hunt and making for Dragonstone. They’re trying to push his battle with Baela to S4, imo.
