yes 5v5 is more popular statistically, but that is likely because it is the main mode

if they made 6v6 role q the main mode and made 5v5 open queue, i can almost guarantee you that 6v6 would be the most played

5v5 is super boring and much less engaging

it forces constant counter picking on tank

health pools are ass, tanks either don't die at all or they fall over instantly and you lose the fight

notice how these are tank issues and no other role has to adapt between 5v5 and 6v6

I love this mode and it stuck with the same shit metas for so long I just quit

and it felt like they didn't go out of the way to add new items in all regards but especially countering.

that item art refresh was also just bad, its hard to tell what items are

They let characters like Ashe dynamite build, Mei, Hazard, Freja be ultra broken for ages, don't add fan favorites and take away fun powers asap, of course people will not want to play.

just cause they wanted to do a different style doesn't mean they had to do it. forcing a direction without considering feedback defeats the point of making those builds public for testing

idk why they didn't settle on a modern version of the early alpha versions of the first game. seen as in those builds they also impose a realistic style but it has a lot of stylistic elements that make it more memorable

idk how anyone prefers 5v5. the only difference is that the tank has a real hard time, its just not fun.

the rest of the team is no different to 6v6, if I hear any dps or support chud saying they prefer 5v5, no you don't, you started in ow2 and you're scared of change
