@loperbloss that one's on Oakamoto, all day long. Horrible.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@DZoneLiability @yegsportstalk @DerrickDodgeYeg @CraigJButton @nielsonTSN1260 @Lieutenant_Eric sure, but, he's dismissing those fairly major facts. no team with a healthy and in their prime 29 and 97, are not contenders for the Cup, simple as that.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@SportsnetSpec @simmonssteve He’s not wrong. Bowman’s name gets him a longer leash than a guy like Knob. If the Oilers don’t win a Cup in the McDavid era. A string of poor moves by the last 3 GMs will be the main reason for it.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@JFreshHockey As long as it ain’t the Avs and that side of the bracket, I’m ok with LA, Anaheim, Utah, or Vegas.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@terr_terrible @tyleryaremchuk That’s too bad for Howard. Such a shame, I hope u reach out to him and let him know so he stops wasting his time. Here all this time I thought he was a young hockey player, trying to make it to the NHL and none of us knew that he wasn’t built for it.. Great insight

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@tyleryaremchuk It’s unreal how cold the bats have been to start the year for the Jays. After that first series, it’s been ugly.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

This Oilers team just does not have it this year. From G to D to F, all underperforming, making uncharactertic mistakes, game after game.Disappointing and unexpected for a group that has had so much success over the last few years. Gas tank might be EMPTY after long playoff runs

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@tyleryaremchuk Oh no, instead of getting benched for taking a dumb selfish penalty, he instead gets to start the second period for the opening face off.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

Leon Draisaitl has to be the fastest player to go from point 1000 to point 1001. 14 seconds. crazy.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@SleeperBlueJays Bieber - B+
Dominguez - B-
Varland - A -
France - D+

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@spittinchiclets if he leaves, I'll be sad, but ZERO HATE from this Oiler fan. you boys are right, the pressure on this man must be insane, from outside and inside, the guy just wants to win. Nothing but love, respect, and admiration from this die hard Oiler fan.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@spittinchiclets I'm a die hard Oiler fan, and I 100% agree. McDavid has given Edmonton 10 great years, he does not owe this team or city anything. His best chance at winning will be short deals, and play it year by year. If a situation looks grim, move on.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@BlueJays I'm not going to write them off, but, the last 3 games are very concerning. Lack of hitting for sure, bullpen has a lot of issues. Need some help before the deadline, and some more clutch hits. Do not want this to spiral out of control. 37-12 combined over the last 3 is ugly.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@McjesusSaves there is so much more to it. No one is saying Holloway wasn't worth 2 million, the problem was due a bunch of factors, some of their own doing, they needed Holloway and Broberg for cheap RFA deals. They had no cap space, and the Blues knew that. It wasn't personal, it was math.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@sarcomyces @Skriptkeeper17 bites marks do not appear on this arm!!! Does?!?! No Sensai!!!

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@Sportsnet why is Vogt surprised and angry? they threw at Vladdy first. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@barstoolsports @spittinchiclets And she isn’t banned for life from that building?

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@ZachHyman don’t hang your https://t.co/bNanIsizbe were an absolute warrior all playoffs long your team will miss you, but I also think they’re gonna step up and they’re gonna win this because of you and for you mad respect on a great playoffs and an amazing Oiler career so far

[Gord P @QuietlyViolent]

@cooncoinclan @jimmathesonnhl Look at the whole picture. It’s more than a city, it’s teammates and friends he’s made here over the last 10 years, it’s competing for the last 4 years with a lot of success, it’s a first run organization with an elite state of the art arena complex. Add Leon to that? Game over.
