@DurojaiyeSegun@ulaka_emmanuel Because as much as death is sad, there’s a deep rooted belief that physical death isn’t final. There’s something called Ilo Uwa. The physical body may die but the spirit transcends. Mmuo Adighi anwu anwu. Someone dies, they “je Ulo” they return to the spirit realm and become
@DurojaiyeSegun@ulaka_emmanuel Ancestors.
On the flip side, for Christians as well today, death may hurt, but it isn’t final, so we do not “mourn” like those without hope.
We celebrate the life and legacy they lived.
It’ll be out of place for someone as bubbly as Ichie Ikuku’s funeral to be a totally sad
I personally want Obi as Nigeria’s president so people can see that you can be upright, be respectful, be a Nigerian, be law-abiding, have no criminal case and still win in Nigeria. Obi’s presidency is good for Nigeria’s moral compass.
@icons_closet@rosemaryegbo I don’t even think they’ve fully grasped it. Some are still holding on firmly to their delusions of “our mothers”. Your mothers that were “trapped”
You come here to tell us “Sleeping with another man’s wife means curses”
But a Married man sleeping with anyone who is not his wife won’t get curses.
Same gender, why is the curses different?

Women in ministry, do not limit yourselves to “women’s ministry” alone because society conditioned you to silence your voice and reduce your capacity. If God has given you the gift to teach, lead, preach, disciple, build, organize, shepherd, create, or influence, steward that gift boldly and excellently.
The gospel is not too heavy for women to carry. Wisdom is not male. Leadership is not male. Calling is not male.
We need a generation of women who will stop apologizing for their capacity and stop reducing themselves to the corners culture assigned to them. Women who will speak with conviction, lead with competence, teach sound doctrine, build institutions, influence nations, disciple people across generations, and fully occupy spaces God called them into.
If God called you, then stand fully in that calling. Steward the gift well. Multiply it. Do much more.
