I wonder how many neurodivergent people repeatedly had that thing where someone they saw as their best friend only thought of them as one step above a pleasant acquaintance.
Bro I work full time and I stream full time hours. Sometimes the only extra time I have is on stream.
Instead of just dropping someone, try communicating. I can do offstream hangouts but I have to juggle to do it. Say that’s the preference, and I can figure it out.
As a full time streamer, I see this differently. I don't care if people only invite me to play games when they're streaming. I stream on a normal day roughly 7-8 hours, and it is difficult to stream that long and then also play more games afterwards when I have responsibilities off stream.
I'm always down to hang out after or make time when im not streaming if they ask, but it is A LOT harder because it's like scheduling around a job. I invite my friends to my streams all the time because I still see hanging out with them on stream as spending time together the same, because I am no different on or off stream. I'll take any time we can get in our busy lives.
Anyways, dropping people out of the blue without explaining your desires to
hang out with them off stream is weird. I personally see it as an honor if my friend enjoys gaming with me so much they want to share our time with their community.
