To the brave men and women of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, we salute you. You are the very exemplar of gallantry in the world and remind us that freedom is not free ... and that those who enjoy it are indebted to those who paid the price to obtain it.
Slava Ukraini!
Heroyam Slava!
Home of the Brave
I don't get it. Russia used to be famous for producing world-class chess champions. What happened? It's like they've all swallowed a bottle of stupid pills.
@UkrReview This is not a video of cars waiting in line to get gasoline. It's a video of the collapse of Russia's ability to function as a nation. What a beautiful sight.
@wartranslated Excellent. Cut off supplies and await the exodus of Russian civilians. It's in Ukraine's best interests that Crimea be free of subversive elements when they take it back.
@NOELreports Most wars end not due to irrecoverable battlefield defeats but rather due to the bankruptcy of one of the belligerents. Russia is in the process of (rapidly) defeating itself.

Ah, the ancient inter-Viking rivalry.
"Who are the real Vikings?"
"We are."
"You? You're a bunch of pussies. If it weren't for us raping and pillaging ..."
"Pussies? You're a bunch of glorified fishermen with bad hygiene. Get a haircut and take a bath."
Are there any Danes in the house?

In yet another act of ritual humiliation in these dying days of the Moscovite Empire, the Kremlin's Press Secretary Zakharova appeals to "friendly nations" for help amid Russia's worsening fuel crisis.
"France supported sadam hussein during the first Gulf war l ..."
Utter nonsense. I know because I was part of the French military at the time (French Foreign Legion).
" ... in the currebt conflict they refused to send even a single mine sweeper or allow the USA to use its own bases on European territory!"
The US did not even notify France, nor other NATO countries, let alone consult them, prior to launching its military assault against Iran (in clear violation of international law). If you want other countries to assist you in attacking a country, you ask BEFORE doing so. You create a "coalition of the willing." Trump's after-the-fact demand that NATO allies support his military adventure was asinine on its face ... Trump is not an Emperor and the West is not his Empire.
To add incredulity to the incredible, imagine spending more than a year:
1.) Cutting off all US support to Ukraine, a war that almost all European NATO members consider an existential threat to their own security;
2.) Trying to coerce Ukraine, a Western ally, into surrendering to Russia, a mass-murdering violator of every international law (including war crimes) one could name;
3.) Threatening to invade Greenland and annex Canada, both NATO allies, on numerous occasions;
4.) Levying crippling tariffs against all NATO (and non-NATO) allies in an effort to force them into a "mercantilist vassalage;" and
5.) Taking every opportunity to publicly denigrate and disparage the elected leaders of said countries
... and still expecting them to "come running whenever you need their assistance."
What kind of a delusional asshole would one have to be to harbor such an expectation? One would have to be Trump ... or one of his MAGA sycophants.

That was mean, Mineur ... and you know it.
Kasparov is one of the Good Guy Russians (and on his worst day he could kill us both, combined, on our best). And Magnus Carlsen is a freakishly good chess player ... often referred to as a "f*cking motherf*cker who needs a good ass-kicking."
There must be honor amongst soldiers.
Apologize to Kasparov.
I'm waiting.
(Don't make me write a poem.)
