GOOD NEIGHBOURS... 🇨🇦 🇺🇸
🟥 I have seen so many comments over the past several months, and especially in recent days, from Americans reaching out to express their apologies to Canada, for Trump’s attitude toward us: the harsh rhetoric, threats, and overall treatment...
They emphasize that they do not support or endorse his behaviour, and stress their DEEP respect and affection for Canada.
They want to make it clear that Trump’s actions and words do not reflect the views or values of most Americans.
AMERICAN FRIENDS – we know that the great majority of you feel nothing but goodwill toward us. We’ve always been, and still are, good neighbours. ✅
A shared history runs between us.
▪️ Shared sacrifices.
▪️ Shared traditions.
▪️ An intertwined economy.
▪️ Shared security and defence commitments.
That bond isn’t fragile.
It’s not going anywhere.
It’s UNBREAKABLE.
And when this moment of madness has passed ... and it WILL ... we will come together again, bound by our shared affection and common purpose, as nations and as peoples. 👍🏼
This video from the last Liberal Party campaign, that features the town of Gander, Newfoundland that opened their doors and hearts to thousands of stranded Americans after 9/11, reminds me of our close bond. ⬇️ 🙂
Another storm moves in tonight. Various weather alerts are now in effect, ranging from Winter Storm, Wind, and Rainfall Warnings to Special Weather Statements. #nlwx

Thank you to the people of St. John’s East, my fellow candidates, and our incredible team of volunteers and supporters.
Though this chapter closes, my commitment to St. John's East and Newfoundland and Labrador remains stronger than ever.
One vehicle has struck two moose calves on the TCH westbound between the Team Gushue Highway and Thorburn Road. One lane of traffic is moving through. It’s that time of year folks when the calves and moose start running across roads and highways so be doubly careful. #NLTraffic
The tragedies we endure as a province leave a lasting impact on us all. Sixteen years ago, the Cougar Flight 491 tragedy changed lives forever. Today, we remember those we lost and all whose lives were forever changed. We will never forget.

In 2009, 41-year-old Curtis Joseph was named the First Star in a game against the Capitals despite playing for less than 6 minutes. With only 57 seconds left in the 3rd, the netminder suddenly entered the game. He proceeded to make 9 incredible saves, sending the game to OT and then shootout where he made 3 more saves, securing the win and forever cementing himself as a Leafs legend.

Roads around metro are snow-covered and slippery. If you don't have 4WD or AWD capabilities, you're going to have trouble in places. While I wasn't on any highways just now, I assume they're in horrible shape. #nltraffic#nlwx@NTVNewsNL
