“To show imama a car”, the car is new he should enjoy it on the road and reflect on the great milestone he has reached an extra 1k for accomodation and food isn’t bad for me but I hear you
Please consider sending the car via train to a lot in Johannesburg so you can reduce driving time to 5 hours.
I don’t know how much it costs to do that but for a 1700km trip you’re looking at 4 full tanks which works out to be +/- 4k.
Comments are advising that you split the trip into two and get some rest. That’s accommodation plus food which pushes average expenditure to 5k. That’s 10k for a return trip.
Even if the price is similar, I imagine you’d be a lot less tired.
@RickyMkhonto77 I split my drive into two days, 800km first day to bloem, next day finished to cape. When I came back I hit about 5/600km to bethuile just before bloem and went to jozi for the next days.
Waze, proper sound, enjoying the drive and not focusing on the destination
