The ability to update core weights seems necessary for models to truly internalize changes in perspective, especially if we’re talking about entities that are meant to persist over prolonged periods of time.
@nyc_paulie@EliMcCann Useless to whom exactly? Not to the economy. Or my employer, or my family. Under certain circumstances, I can be useless in certain ways. But in the absence of context as you have used it, the word itself is quite useless.

@petergostev Codex 5.3 did something similar I believe. This is probably a bigger deal based on the excitement surrounding this, but without further context it's hard to say how much of a bigger deal.
