Released as the second single from my third album Affairs Of The Heart, another in my evolving this one blending sophisticated R&B, house, dance - as gangster rap, hip hop, new jack swing - I decided to write and record this with house music club legend David Morales. MCA gave me the freedom to do it. David was surprised at the idea when reaching out - not to remix solely but to write an original composed. Like Rakim in 89 on Friends- he agreed to do it throwing caution to the wind! Not a contrived choice-simply an artist, writer true to herself no matter what.
