Jumped back into Black Mesa last night after setting it aside for months while busy with other stuff.

Beta branch has some new graphical treats and it still runs buttery smooth on my older GPU. What an incredible effort and faithful re-creation of Half-Life, really enjoying it!

Anyone have recommendations for first person (shooter or not) games that really surprised them? I don't want to paint with too broad a stroke but a lot of modern FPS is about infinite replayability and multiplayer mechanics. I'm longing for more environmental storytelling that moves at a single player pace.
