In South Africa, White Farmers and Black Women are the 2 demographics whose murders make international news and bring in millions, if not billions, in NPO funding.
We're told everyday to stop killing black women & stop killing white farmers.
Does this mean that everyone else's life is worthless?
If ordinary black & white men are killed... if children are killed... seemingly no one makes documentaries, or sets up NPOs and no one gets American & European funding...
...what does all of this mean???
For context:
25,000 ppl were killed in SA in the last year
- 79 ppl were killed on farms (this includes black ppl & includes farmworkers)
- 3200 women are killed
- 1000 children were killed
Does this mean men, particularly black men's lives are worthless... and not deserving of NPOs, funding, government uproars, etc???
Why must deaths be more valuable based on race, and gender... especially when those deaths are in the minority & sometimes the extreme minority???
Do other men, especially black men, care about themselves enough to begin asking these questions?! Is there an agenda at play?!
We're in a warped space where racial and gender wars are being fuelled by local & international parties... and getting us to buy into the propaganda, at our detriment.
Black ppl and white ppl need to unite in reducing ALL murders. Men and women need to unite in reducing ALL murders. Let's stop valuing certain lives over others, based on race or gender... coz that makes us complicit in the funded fights between us.
(Random: 50% of women murdered are killed by their intimate partners. The minority of children murdered are killed by women.)
Durban SAPS caught a boy stealing & they asked him why, he said he is living alone with Koko in unbearable situation with no food neither a roof to sleep,
Instead of arresting the boy Police went to see where he stay & couldn't help themselves but bringing them something to eat.
