I do not trust Andy Burnham never have never will. The man who would be king sound more like snake oil salesman. Wasn’t brilliant as an MP last time. He’ll be disaster MK 2. Borrow & tax policies. So left wing he’s in danger of falling over.

Good to have more experience in the ranks of the independents. Might be better for Birmingham if other experienced Labour Councillors resigned too.

I wouldn’t call him a prophet more a visionary on the future direction of the UK England in particular. He did sound warning bells.

@EdwardJDavey Enoch Powell was a Professor of Greek when he was 25. He was an army brigadier who saw combat in WWII and wrote poetry and books on classical and political subjects. You're not fit to clean the shoes of the man who collected the garbage from the house of Powell's butler.

@lammie_j @LizClements There’s not even enough Labour councillors on Birmingham City Council to fill my garden shed. They have only themselves to blame. They really pressed the self destruction button. Recently lost another hard working Councillor & the possibility of another going independent.

@CllrMajid Bullying Starmer & NEC parachuted leaders unelected by Labour councillors and the ‘new’ Brum was selected by Starmer’s nodding donkeys. Brum Labour deselected hard working councillors and replace with fawning & Starmer worshipping candidates. 2 more councillors gone?

Stand up for Birmingham not what the NEC & Starmer says you do. A truly awful decision. No point in having district committees & local branches if all they do is rubber stamp the decisions made by London. Don’t be cowardly you have a voice use it!

When Birmingham was directly building council houses there was a scholarship levy that helped put young people into built environment opportunities. Trying to link changing places to opportunities. Will always shout out for youth centres & those opportunities for young people.
