Malcolm relocated to work at the DD Lamson Head Office in Gosport during 1984 when the companies joined; Now, after 58 years, he has decided it is time to retire. We all wish him well for this new chapter in his life.

“Quirepace have recently completed a new Telelift Unicar installation in a new central pathology laboratory in London. The fit-out contractor, and our customer, Mace Interiors made a nice video during commissioning of a trolley travelling around the track network

which we would like to share with you. Telelift Unicar is an intralogistics system consisting of a network of track which can be routed horizontally and vertically through a building on which autonomous trolleys travel between different station locations.

Our newest employee in the Engineering Department Alethea, graduated yesterday from Bournemouth University with a degree in Product Design.

Over the weekend we had some visitors, a Mummy Hedgehog and 5 babies were found by the skip in the car park. A nice lady from Waterlooville Hedgehog Rescue has now taken them off to be specially cared for. 🥰That certainly brightened up a gloomy Monday at Quirepace.

A customer recently approached us to replace a pair of old BVC Industrial Vacuum Cleaners that have been giving sterling service for over 40 years, but are now reaching end-of-life. “I bet the replacements won’t last 40 years” said the customer. Quirepace beg to differ.

Our MD and Service Divisional Manager visited a Manchester Hospital yesterday, to check out a new installation that Quirepace has completed. It is our largest single hospital PTS installation in the UK with over 100 stations and makes in the region of 5,000 transactions per day.

This week, we successfully finished the production of a batch of Telelift LabCars in Maisach, Germany.
The whole batch passed the Factory Acceptance Tests and will now be shipped to the UK where they will be part of the logistic solution in a brand-new pathology lab.
