Nope. I don't think 30 seconds, or 60 seconds, or 5 minutes of whatever you choose has any meaning. Of course, it has meaning if that's what everyone decides has meaning. In a past life I would probably back test every listing and find the MFE and exit before then because that's what the data says, and I am very data driven.

If it works for you, or anyone else, keep doing it, but I don't pay attention to it.

Find your edge and work the shit out of it.

Not usually one for PNL screenshots but I'm happy with this for 8 months of grinding. There was a tough 5 months with with zero progress that was tough to chew, but persistence pays off.

Looking forward to the next 10x, hopefully with a better curve.

@LC__Capital @Sentinel_CY Just news, automated and manual entries, manual everything else. I tried to automate everything away but found nothing beats discretion for managing positions.

I barley feel like I'm qualified to give advice, but for taking profits I will say this. The pain of seeing your position up a decent amount, then retrace, only to get stopped out far outweighs the pain of taking profits and then seeing price move higher. The shoulda coulda woulda's start to creep in. 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.

Also, assuming round tripping your position results in greater profits overall by eventually getting a 'big win' to cover all your small loses, it's mentally harder to trade overall because your win rate is so low. If that is not that case then for sure you need to start taking more profits.

@iam4x I agree. These results are not typical and I believe the only way they are possible are in crypto, and it doesn't come without sacrifices. I for sure have put in my 10,000 hours, and some. But if I can do it, anyone else can, but you have to want it, and work for it.

@wifi_bread I have an FX algorithmic background. If I could start over and save years I would do news only from the start, and would tell anyone else to so the same. Only for the grinders though, this is full time work.
