Although flying standby is a privilege, it should be done correctly. Two people below me were cleared for the flight due the CSA manually clearing everyone and skipping me. After several check ins @SouthwestAir
While I’ll be reporting this at my final destination, it will likely fall on deaf ears. While the CSA’s at the ORD location weren’t unpleasant, they were incredibly unhelpful. Only for it to be virtually impossible to get a supervisor @SouthwestAir
After making sure I had a CONFIRMED seat on my already paid for flight, I asked for a supervisor. After TWO attempts at speaking to a floor supervisor, i ultimately had to board my flight @SouthwestAir
It wasn’t until me going and explaining to another CSA my situation that I was finally cleared for my PAID flight!!!!! Had I not been paying attention I could’ve potentially missed this equally FULL flight @SouthwestAir
However, to my dismay I get to my original flight and I’m ALSO on standby! For a flight was PROMISED I’d still have if not made the earlier flight!!!! @SouthwestAir
The CSA trainer explained that be cause the customer of size ticket isn’t a “real” ticket, I was removed from the standby list, ultimately being skipped @SouthwestAir
Mind you, I did not request this. Although I am plus size, I fit comfortably in all seats. However, because I was double ticketed I was not recognized on the standby list @SouthwestAir
Tried flying standby on a 3pm flight to my destination. I’m fully and completely aware that standby is first come first serve while also a tier bases(I am a former major airline CSA trainer) @SouthwestAir
Karl-Anthony Towns.
Man was slandered by peers and fans for years.
Labeled “soft” “not a winning player” and a whole lot of other BS.
Overcame injuries and loss time and time again.
Now back to back conference finalist. LFG @KarlTowns
we used to celebrate like we won a ring when our team MADE the playoffs
our franchise is the most losing in NBA history and the second-most losing in MEN’S SPORTS period
yet we supported them through it all
we deserve this, man. we deserve this
