BREAKING: Speaker Mike Johnson just said he supports a ban on congressional stock trading.

"at least let them engage in some stock trading so they can continue to take care of their family"
Wow.
Back in November, we reported extensively on a curious purchase of Viasat stock by a member of Congress.
$VSAT is now up 50% since our reports.
It's up another 7% today.
Look at this:

Republican Senator Mike Lee has said that it's time to repeal the Jones Act.

JUST IN: Senator Ashley Moody just filed her first trades as a member of Congress.
She bought up to $100K of stock in Howmet Aerospace, $HWM.
Howmet makes components for jet engines.
Full trade list up on Quiver.
JUST IN: We have received data on new trades by Senator Ron Wyden.
Something caught my eye:
He bought up to $100K of Eli Lilly stock on January 22nd, and then sold it three weeks later.
The stock rose approximately 15% in those three weeks.
Full trade list is up on Quiver.
Republican Representative Brian Fitzpatrick just implied that a bipartisan majority of Congress will act if the peace deal isn't fair to Ukraine.
"We will use every lever and every vote at our disposal, regardless of the personal or political consequences."
