Studying doesn't have to be boring.
I made a quiz game where every right answer powers you up to blast monster swarms 🧙
Paste any flashcards - math, vocab, SAT, calculus, literally whatever - and it quizzes you while you play a roguelike.
After hearing this request from several parents: We added Profiles to QuizCaster (Study Settings > Parental Controls)
Now parents can track the progress of each of their kids separately, and have them study different topics!

Going live soon! Tonight's Night School: How to Build a Game With AI — No Coding, No Art Team.
@MattHProgrammer built QuizCaster's characters, animation & sound with AI, then shipped it in ~a month. No art team. No game-dev background.
He's walking through the exact stack: Claude Code, Phaser, Pixel Lab, ElevenLabs, Aseprite — plus where AI still needs a human's taste.

Reddit comments from recent players of https://t.co/dZy5ylo4BQ:
• "This is surprisingly polished. I love the AI prompt addition, I imported a deck of 95 CISSP study questions and played for like 2 hours"
• "This is awesome! I was a software developer for just under 5 years. I left to work in HR instead and I’d love to use this game to help me study for the SHRMP-CP exam!"
• "Ok I’ve played this for 10 mins at my 1st-2nd graders math level and I’m impressed! This is fun and should motivate her to get a good handle on the topics she’s forgotten over summer!"

QuizCaster just got a lot more difficult!
Enemies no longer just walk at you - they attack!
Golems wind up and slam (telegraphed, so you can dodge), mushroom guys lob spores, puffcaps explode, hoppers jump at you.
Too hard now?

QuizCaster had over 500 Weekly Average Users last week!
We're getting a number of players revisit the site for 3 days straight which is amazing to see.
Later today we'll post a Devlog, we changed a lot this week!
We might hit 500 Weekly Average Users this week! !
Also currently adding:
• Profiles - so parents can track progress of multiple children on the same computer
• Teacher dashboard - invite students and generate custom quiz sets for them
Parents are joining our Discord and leaving feedback on what they'd like to see ❤️
Related: we are adding Profiles so that parents of multiple children can track their progress separately.
We're building an interface for Teachers to build custom Quizzes, invite Students, and track progress.
Right now, the 'Customize What I'm Learning' setup is a bit too individualized for a classroom setting.
Just passed 300 Weekly Average Users for the first time, with 2 days left to go in the week! 🚀
Also added some enemy attack patterns this week that make the game much more challenging.
