Good morning, early birds! Attorney General Gentner Drummond filed a petition Tuesday in Rogers County District Court to block the proposed construction of a heavy-industrial aluminum smelting complex in Inola touted by Gov. Kevin Stitt.

did not show the bill was “clearly, palpably and plainly inconsistent with the Oklahoma statutes and/or statutes.”

Lair said the agency respects this decision, but it does not hold the rule of law, so they are appealing to the Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals for review.
