What a perfect, intimate Tudor venue for singing Tudor music!Thank you so much for hosting us in the beautiful and historic Tunstall Chapel @durhamcastle ahead of our Saturday @ChoralEvensong@durhamcathedral featuring works by Thomas Tallis and Robert Parsons.
Just a quick heads-up for our lovely conductor @chris_quorum who is planning on jumping out of a plane for charity. Friends of the choir, please check out his @JustGiving page and donate if you can. Thank you! #JustGiving#BallsToCancer https://t.co/AeuiiKbOeW
Visiting choirs. A thread ๐งต
Singing in a visiting choir was a formative experience especially as I couldnโt regularly sing in a cathedral choir. The experience has taken me all over the country to amazing cities and beautiful cathedrals. I have a soft spot for visiting choirs.
The thanks and plaudits go to you @davidbray_real for all your hard work, encouragement and flexibility over the last four years. We are all wishing you the best for your next projects. Keep in touch!

What a great choice for Lent! This solemn and dramatic piece will form part of our Palm Sunday Choral Evensong this Sunday in the intimate setting of St Mary Magdalene Church, Willen, Milton Keynes. #EarlyMusic#Tallis
Special thanks to Jules Addison for coming all the way to Northampton in ghastly weather to play for our service yesterday, and for a sparkling voluntary.
Keeping warm during rehearsal for Choral Evensong & Benediction yesterday as gales howled around the church spire and rooftops. The coats & hats were shed for the service itself! Thanks to @davidbray_real for your direction, and thank you very much for having us @StMatthewsMusic
This afternoon at 4pm - the first state school choir to broadcast BBC Choral Evensong in its 96 year history. Hopefully a seismic moment, and a welcome reminder to so many that independent schools don't have a monopoly on outstanding music-making.
